Welp, had a couple of bad experiences with trying out RTAs today...

First try was a Bachelor Nano, an inexpensive postless that I chose because it was a single coil, top fill, the perfect size for my XVOstick, and supposedly noob-friendly. Putting the coil in was easy, and I put the wick in, filled 'er up, took a drag or two, then set the mod down, I thought all was well until eliquid started flowing out of the air holes :(

Then I tried the fill sized bachelor, but this time I decided to be lazy and just use the pre-installed wicked .5 ohm coil. Filled 'er up, put the mod at 30 watts, took a nice drag, and *COUGHCOUGHCOUGHCOUGHCOUGHCOUGHCOUGHCOUGHCOUGHCOUGHCOUGHCOUGHCOUGH*

Then I decided it was time to start drinking (vanilla flavored vodka and a bit of Coke) and cursing the FDA for forcing this on me, I was so happy popping coils out of blister packs!

A couple of drinks later, unable to understand what I had done to piss off the God Of Proper Wicking, I decided to *gulp* try again.

This time on an SXK-Nebula Wine RTA. Dirt cheap, single coil, also supposedly noob-friendly (understand my skepticism at this point), reviewers have noted that is has good flavor but complained about tight airflow (perfect!), but no top fill, and you need a friggin needle-tip even for the bottom fill :(

Had to pitch one coil due to the fact that in my current state I apparently tried to put a lead THROUGH a post instead of under a screw (I blame my eyes, not the vodka, of course) and the coil became rather uncoiled. I waited until the God Of Proper Wicking had his back turned, and threw in some cotton, filled up, and...success!

Moral of the story: Never do something you dread sober.

Wow. Now this added some stuff I had not heard before.

I have been vaping the same stuff, nothing new in ages. Luckily I bought a fairly large stock in the past. I have some in the freezer that needs to come out soon. I am happy with my HHV products, and that is almost the only thing I use. Now and then I vape something else. I think the only other thing is Halo Turkish Tobacco, or 2-3 flavors from Yaeliq. The lineup is heavily in favor of the HHV tobacco, mostly net flavors.
MS has become nasty SOB's , I hope it continues to blowup on them .

Good Morning Army, via Google Chrome. Which has been waiting quietly on the left border of my main screen (Desktop ?) for a while now. After reading the link that kkay posted, I thought it was time to try something other than the KGB, er.. I mean Bill Gates.
I have found how to change the view (125% is easier on my old eyes). I haven't set Google Chrome as my default browser yet, (there is a button for that) because I am totally unfamiliar with anything other than Windows products. Do I have to 'transfer' my AVG FREE anti-virus to this system ? Does 'Bookmark' work the same as 'Favorites' ? Can I set ECF as my Home Page ?
Trust me, Gears and Asphalt are a lot more familiar to me...
But. if nothing else it is Sunday. Maybe I'll start an "Abandoning Windows for Dummies" Thread somewhere on the ECF....

Have a Safe and Blessed Day :)

Chrome shouldn't affect your anti virus Pop. Yes, bookmark on Chrome is your favorites. You'll have to play with it a little to figure it out. It's not hard. You can set ECF on your bookmarks bar for easy access. It's a bar that sits atop of your screen with whatever sites you designate to the bookmarks bar. Lastly, note you can open an incognito window (right click on the Chrome logo). This keeps trackers from tracking your internet movements.

Just under the X (upper right hand corner) you'll see a logo that is three horizontal lines. That's where your settings are. Play around in there a little too.

@PapawBrett - you can import your bookmarks into Chrome in a few easy steps:

Import settings from another browser - Chrome Help

When you installed Chrome, it should have picked up your homepage setting. So if you had it set to ECF, that's what it should be in Chrome. If not, the steps on that link should do it.

    Love these GIFs. LOL

It's good to get experience on different browsers never know when one of them is gonna go teats up. Since moving to Mac my Windows skills have deteriorated somewhat. I need to open it up some time and refresh. Maybe even upgrade from Win 7 to 10.

Finished watching my Harry Potter series, now I'm starting up the Hobbit/Lord of the Rings series again. I think it's an annual thing. Got through the Hobbit's 3 disks today - tomorrow we'll start LOR.

I've been stuck on the Nikita series on Netflix for a while. Four more episodes and it's back to the "show hole".

It's good to have multiple browsers on your system , I have Chrome , Firefox and Opera on mine , sometimes I run Opera and Firefox at the same time if I wanna look something up without disturbing the other browser . If you start that thread , link us up , it should be fun .:)

Almost done with the boxes here in the new house. We are still in Kansas City, we moved about 10 minutes across town. I'm officially a homeowner for the first time in my life after living in base housing and rentals during my time in the Air Force as well as the first house we moved into here in Kansas with the new job.

Also, we have the internets in the new house, but had to give up google fiber gigabit Internet service as it hasn't been installed in this new subdivision.

Hope all is going well for everyone. Things are going pretty great here, even with this crappy rda that came with the kanger dripbox. In the next few weeks I'll be in the market for a reo and a legitimate squonk-friendly atty. :D

On a side note, I have fallen back in love with DF and legend after taking a very long hiatus. I keep trying to remember why I ever ventured away from HHV. Lol
