It's a good thing I cleaned out the doghouse when I did, cause I'm back in it. :(
We went out to buy a couple flower pots this morning and by the time we got back home I had to take a #2 real bad. So she asked me to get her a hose and she'd water the flowers along the drive while went up to do my business. When I finished she had moved on to another section of the back garden, so I decided to check a couple e-mails while she finished up. Next thing I know I'm waking up to a slew of Thai curses with my name thrown in there. I look at the clock and it's been over an hour since I got out of the bathroom! YIKES!!!

She's still cursing as I bring her into the house and park her (by request) next to the phone in the family room. At this time I figure it's time to go finish power washing the drive. While out there she managed to get into the bedroom. I'm taking a break now - I'll give her a few more minutes before I go in to check on her.

Dang, Chak . . . :(:(:( . . . I know Mama Chak is mentally and physically in pain, but . . . that kind of verbal abuse is just . . . NOT RIGHT.

I have a possible stupid idea. Since our government 'leaders' have forgotten..... Each one of us should send a copy of the Declaration of Independence with certain parts underlined.

Told ya it was kinda silly.

I think it's brilliant!! :) Useless of course, with that lot, but brilliant nevertheless!

An update to a previous post of mine - I'm out of the doghouse.

This evening we shared a cup of won ton soup and all seems to be forgiven. Life is good.

YAY!!! Good to hear it.!

My one day off and I just got in from doing yard work , looks like the rest of the Army is having a better fourth of July than I am :( I need a Margarita , frozen please .

Let's see now.... Saturday I rested in the morning. Then Mamaw and I went to Lowe's to shop for a new kitchen light, and swung by Wal Mart (of course I paid). Then that evening installed new light fixture in kitchen (removed florescent, installed two-bulb traditional). Sunday was Urlacher's Day. Bathed, brushed, taken to Benfield Vet Clinic (Pet Smart) for annual work. Afterwards I took Daughter's car to Advanced Auto for battery test, replacement (already tested myself and it needed to be replaced). Then did the Longhorn's Carry Out for baby back ribs for Mamaw and I (daughter furious because her boyfriend "only" brought Jersey Mike's over for her an hour earlier). This morning it was mow the lawn before the rains got here. Now it is raining, and I have excellent excuse for lounging on my ..... Thinking of putting Brice Willis' "Live Free or Die Hard" into the PS3 for entertainment. Excellent July 4th movie :thumb:
Or maybe I will just surf the ECF for a few DIY recipes to try...

I'm in the restaurant 6 days a week now , the kitchen is brutally hot right now , enough to actually kill you if you're not acclimated , I don't have anything left afterwards , but I have 3 properties to deal with on my day off . Got no choice but I'm gettin too old for it .

Any word yet on what happens when the deeming kicks in the first week or so of August?

Me personally, I'll just charge my batteries, fill my Reos with some DIY and go back to work. So my taxes can pay exorbitant salaries to the :censored::censored::censored::censored::censored::censored::censored: in Mosco.... er, Washington DC.

I am disappointed in Netflix offerings for the 4th of July. So here is a link to The Crossing. Excellent movie, although it comes in parts. Keep with the same channel, and click on each of 7 parts. I enjoyed the movie very much. I think you will too. Washington crosses the Delaware.

Well, I'm not *quite* prepared for DIY yet. I need to decide between mini freezer or fridge, plus the whole DIY thing as a whole is a bigger leap than just using a rebuildable. Hoping HHV will keep going for awhile, anyway.
