Happy Monday!

Hope everyone had a nice weekend. I worked Saturday, but managed to add some fun times in Sat night and spent the day yesterday doing laundry, grocery shopping etc... it's hot and humid here too.

My mom visited Aunt Ida Friday and she's turning the corner. She is now expected to recover but there was brain damage from her dehydration/pneumonia (sodium levels were very high) so I'm not sure how limited she will be. Still planning on heading out this Friday to check on her and help my cousin out. She should be moved to a higher level care center and I'd like to check it out. Alzheimer's is so cruel. Her body is a healthy 80 year old but her mind is not.

Back to work today.

@76bridget I had the Presa (sent it to Chak last year) and never replaced it. I'm using the istick Pico (removable battery). The first one broke after 3 weeks but i loved the size etc.. so i tried another one. No problems with that one so i ordered another. They both work great and are nice and small.

. . .
@Pappy I had iSticks when they were the new thing. Still have one in the dinosaur box for backup but had trouble with the center pin connecting after a while. I'm sure they've fixed that in newer models tho. . . .

Yes, the original 20 watt istick didn't have a spring loaded center pin, and I had the same issue. All the newer ones have a spring loaded center pin, and they don't have that issue.

Good afternoon Army

They just launched a rocket and hubby and I were watching the sky. We had a general idea of what direction to look. Hubby took one window and I looked out the other.

Clouds in the general direction so we didn't know if we would actually see anything. Well through a very small window of blue sky....I Saw It!! How freakin' cool!

Now we know what direction and approximate landmark to look, if it happens again with a clearer sky, we will be able to see it and track it for a while.

Good Afternoon Army from Wurtland KY. My son-in-law (the former Loser #5) has asked me to give Fantasy Football Money League a try. I will be setting up the league (and the rules) so at least I won't be confused by the setup. Or maybe not.
Started my Monday morning with a flat on the trailer. Just another manic Monday....

Have a Safe and Blessed Day :)

So you are skipping Thursday's session? Your next one will be next Thursday so you just stretch it out one week?

I'm having a mini session. I will be getting a large syringe of the lighter chemo and the normal blood thinning Avastin. I just won't have the pump or the Oxi.

I'm gone for ten days and will be still on schedule for the next session.

Howdy army,
wow that thread took off since Chak's death. Had to take some time off of ECF to stop myself from thinking of him and being aware of how fast it all could end :/

Anyway, I'm still kicking - working my a** off and had at times >40 pages to read up here - I finally made it today.

Apart from that not much going on - wifey still working on her master's; me trying to get someone from the Social Security Admin to tell me how to get our SSNs (we were told they would be assigned automatically after we enter the US - s'posed to take 3-6 weeks. It's been 12 weeks now :/ )

But the Reos I bought back in June and who waited for me in Boston ever since finally made it

Luv' em - haven't touched anything but Reos in a week

Hey Robin I'm traveling Friday as well, any chance you're going thru Atlanta? That's a long shot but sure would be neat!

Have a great trip

I wish! That would be neat!

No, hubby likes non-stop flights. Even if it means leaving the house at an ungodly hour. At least going to Michigan we leave home at 9am. Now coming back...ugh. I think we have to leave my son's place at 5 or 6 am.
