were you looking for the AC or DC type?? AC is white and black while DC is red and black, but the DC type is just one way, while the AC flops back and forth making it hard to distinguish which is actually the forward currant

I feel for yuh. Just replaced all the guts in one of the thrones that went bad. Did another one last year. Replaced the fill valve in a third one the year before that. Seems they all go at once. Gonna go back and replace the flush valve in the one I did two years ago (along with a new gasket). That way all three thrones will be done and likely I will never have to fix them again.Evening.... I hate plumbing issues...Darn shower faucet is leaking to the point I have to leave the main water off unless I'm going to use it. It has to be changed and I can't do anything about it till Saturday.
That's how I do it too Pap. Haven't had a ticket in decades.
Well, we had another big rain here this morning. This is the strangest August I remember. Below average temps and lots of rain. August is usually very hot and very dry.
So quiet in here! We got another inch of rain last night on top of 4 inches Tuesday night. Same as Pappy, crazy weather for August.
I ordered the little iStick Pico today. It was cheap. If I hate it, no big loss. But really I think I'm going to love it as it is so much smaller than the Presa. I always try to get stainless/silver mods (after scratching up my black Provari) but all I could find without a tank, and from a reputable dealer was black. So black it is.
Kal had his first shooting practice today at college. Just skeet. Shot 19/20 and 17/20. Not bad for 3 months off. He caught his fingers in a pumping unit belt back in May so we've just been letting that heal. The unit was off, thank goodness. Many men in our area have lost fingers in such accidents. He came out with a broken tip of his ring finger, and lost 2 nails. So very thankful.
Softball games and football scrimmage tomorrow, and somebody needs to get us some dang groceries..

Monkeying around with this temperature control. Finally got the menu figured out on this Evolv board. Geez! Have to say they don't make it easy. Next Up: eScribe (the software that allows you to goof around with all the settings).
Evening....Off work at 6:30 so I went to Lowes around the corner from work.. New setup for the tub and shower $76. Includes the spout, single knob with the valve. I could change it but I'm having someone else do it. The guy does handyman work and has done houses in this neighborhood. My NIL has used him in the apartments they have. Plus he does charge like a plumber would. So with a little luck I'll have this fixed for a couple hundred. The less I have to do the better.
I dunno some slam. Bacon, eggs, ham, pancakes, 4 eggs and hashbrowns well done. Then ate wife's two eggs...

Been a crazy couple of days. My days off are packed and my work days are worse.
Got so frustrated at work today i actually ended up crying for a brief moment. Then got myself together, told someone they were insubordinate and I won't tolerate it. Passed it off to my director. Then i had the meanest patient ever. I actually had to tell her it was illegal to be verbally abusive to health care workers and i really needed her to stop or she could go home. She settled right down and apologized before i went home.
Lots to do for my trip tomorrow. But tonight i'm just relaxing. At least for an hour.

@MostlySunny - My day off was a bit crazy too! Like Bridget, someone around here had to get some groceries. I haven't taken a day off in awhile, so I still managed to enjoy it. Your story made me happy, because even though your patient was mean, she responded to correction. Sometimes I worry that people are losing that capacity to hear, learn and change direction.
@DavidOH - with those plumbing problems - I hope it's not contagious. I have some electric work that needs to get done and I just got plumbing fixed last year. This year, one of the condos on our floor in our building had their feed hose on one of their toilets blow off. It sprayed all day while they were away and no one could get in to stop it. Their unit and two units below them had major damage. We escaped damage, and I'd like to keep it that way! Oh, and good luck with those hopefully easy repairs.
@Bunnykiller - I wish you'd write a book of all that vast knowledge of yours. I'd be first in line to buy it.

gonna be a hot one today... maybe even for the next dew days..... my AC in the car died yesterday on the way home from Hattiesburg Ms.
