Normally 87-88 isn't too hot for me, if the temp stays there. Considering I was running my heat, and we had freezing temps at night, this was a shock to my system. I'm guessing we are at least 10-12 deg hotter right now, than normal. Usually we wear a light jacket in the evenings by now. The dogs started to get more winter coat started, and now they were panting. I turned the a/c on for them, as well as me. I hate to see them suffer. Cassie got a haircut from me, but poor Bella...she has a very thick double coat. She can get a coat almost as thick as a husky, or very thin in the summer if she is outside a lot. Since she is inside most of the time now, it is sort of a happy medium.

You sure can. You're among friends here. Sounds like a rough day. I suggest :toast:

I spent 3hours nonstop sorting and segregating 7 skids of their freight. When I got done I have 19 skids. Then I had to bust my tail trying to get some more stops done before it got to late. Yes having a couple..;)

Heya army!
I'm going to give some words of wisdom from a really old fart(almost 66) not related to vaping-but older age.
If you are 50 or older-join AARP,1. to gain knowledge in general about getting older(I joined at 50)
2. for discounts-many are provided(my 4-6 week Denny's discount more than than pays for cost)

When you are close to 65 you will be BOMBARDED with mail(snail and email) about getting on Medicare.
My best advice there is to research the people who want your "business" and talk to them whether email or phone or both to find one you are "comfortable" with as they can help you go thru confusing and changing Medicare laws, plans etc. They provide knowledge and experience to you.How do you pay them you ask?
Well,"you" don't.........when setup properly-and they will make sure of that- the government/medicare pays their fees as part of plan cost(which remains the same-no matter what plan or option you choose).
what you need to do is be a communicator with them and ask questions, many of them to understand what is best for your situation.
Those of you that know me on here know I HATE to type ,so for me this a a long post, but I feel this info can help.
If you need more info just ask-I'll try to provide it.

It was nice here today, about 85 I think. We've been back and forth already from AC to heat and back to AC. I did a 10 mile ride on my bike after work. Tomorrow is elbows and :censored:holes busy.

Holy WASPS! We have a bazillion red wasps at every entrance to the house. Everyone locally is suffering, not just us. I googled and made a few wasp traps, will see if I catch any tomorrow. I went with beer for bait since we have bee hives. Ladybugs are out in full force also but I haven't seen many of those here.

I had to look twice to make sure this was really a post from you! I've noticed your brevity, but I just thought you were "the strong silent type!" :D

Kinda crazy you posted this because I found myself thinking about this very topic. I wondered at what age you have to go through all that. I have about a decade to wait. I sat in with my parents when they had to decide on a plan, because I knew a bit about insurance from when I worked at a financial planner's office. There are many twists and turns in policies, and you really do need guidance for it. Thankfully the agent who worked with them was a decent young guy, happy to keep explaining options and helping them compare policies.

Thanks for suffering to type all that out! Good advice!

Home.
Sick.
This sucks.
Some really bad habits of my youth (and a few instances of my disregard for safety when I was younger) have structurally challenged my nose/ sinus passageway over the years. I see no use in complaining, as I pretty much did this to myself.
Now there is a wicked upper- respiratory virus making the rounds, and I've got it. When I am not struggling to breathe, I am blowing out/ coughing up large green and brown chunkers. I hurt, and sleep is getting harder to come by.
Yesterday, I called into the Main Office to talk to H.R. They have a company nurse who works Monday and Thursday, only she took yesterday off. They got ahold of her, she called me, and I was supposed to have a prescription of amoxicillin waiting for me in Wal Mart.
Drag myself through the day, go to Wally World.... no prescription.
So today I sit at home, waiting for a Doctor's Appointment later today.
Asa Career Trucker, I can honestly say if I did my job as well as some of the people I deal with, I would kill a family of four.
Yes, Hula, I have been grumpy last few days, but every woman knows there is nothing worse than a sick man. At least I don't mope and blubber- I am more the "Leave me the Hell Alone" type.

Go have a Great Day. For Me !

My crepe myrtles got hit in June with Asian Ambrosia Beetles. Tiny little things. They bore holes in the tree leaving a toothpick sized trail of sawdust sticking out the side. They kill the tree. Chopped them down and burned them. The stumps grew new shoots and now they are bushes. I'll prune all but three or four of the shoots and make it a tree in the spring.

Good morning, army:) Finally got our power back after four days. I might be ready to try my Legend...............
Welcome back!
