How did your treatment go yesterday?

Nothing out of the ordinary. I guess my blood counts were up, they didn't schedule any shots. I forgot to ask for my sheet that tells me what they are. I can get them off the website in a couple of days after they input the data.

My port didn't want to cooperate fully. They put me on a mechanical pump since the gravity fed IV sometimes wouldn't drip LOL.

My port is finicky sometimes. Not unusual.

I called the Pennsylvania hospital and they hadn't received the paperwork. They got the CDs of the PET and CT scans....that was NOT on my list that I gave them. I have those to take with me. This was at the bigger office that I made the request. So I requested again at the smaller one where I get my treatments. I saw the records person and they said they will have it done by this afternoon or tonight. Also was asked if I wanted a copy of it all. I said YES! :D

Good thing I do follow-ups. Now I know which office is the best to get stuff done.

Home.
Sick.
This sucks.
Some really bad habits of my youth (and a few instances of my disregard for safety when I was younger) have structurally challenged my nose/ sinus passageway over the years. I see no use in complaining, as I pretty much did this to myself.
Now there is a wicked upper- respiratory virus making the rounds, and I've got it. When I am not struggling to breathe, I am blowing out/ coughing up large green and brown chunkers. I hurt, and sleep is getting harder to come by.
Yesterday, I called into the Main Office to talk to H.R. They have a company nurse who works Monday and Thursday, only she took yesterday off. They got ahold of her, she called me, and I was supposed to have a prescription of amoxicillin waiting for me in Wal Mart.
Drag myself through the day, go to Wally World.... no prescription.
So today I sit at home, waiting for a Doctor's Appointment later today.
Asa Career Trucker, I can honestly say if I did my job as well as some of the people I deal with, I would kill a family of four.
Yes, Hula, I have been grumpy last few days, but every woman knows there is nothing worse than a sick man. At least I don't mope and blubber- I am more the "Leave me the Hell Alone" type.

Go have a Great Day. For Me !

Poor Papaw. I think I had that virus, and not being to able to catch my breath was kinda scary. Every one gets that type of illness now and then, but this one really did have me worried. It was like trying to get that big "catch" breath, by inhaling into a plastic bag with heavy condensation in it. Meanwhile I'll commiserate with you, one grumpy bugger to another:D...I have got the worst torn/pulled/strained muscle in my lower back that I have ever had in my life. Came on really bad Tuesday morning and is worse today. Yesterday I HAD to get groceries and nearly collapsed 4-5 times all over the store with the spasms. I thought I was getting better till then.

I cannot like, love, agree or anything to that post.
But from one old fart to another- take it easy for a few days.

That's what is scheduled. BUT if the cancer is not all dead, I will elect to go further with the chemo as long as the cancer is responding so splendidly to the chemo. So far it is 3 to go. I will be scheduling another CT or PET scan after Thanksgiving. That will tell us more.

You're my hero Robin.

AAwww shucks. Just doing what needs to be done to fight this thing. ;)

Why did my ECF screen go wide? I didn't tell it to. How do I get it skinny again?

Is it just ECF or the browser window?

They have been trying to fix some issues behind the scenes. Could be that was a glitch?
Mine is still fine. Try closing and reopening.

Sorry, that's all I got.

Hmm...right click blank space on your desktop and go to resolution or monitor properties and adjust accordingly. You may have hit the Fn key and magnifier on the keyboard?

If your browser is in full screen mode, you can go back to normal mode by pressing F11, or Function + F11 on a laptop. Unless you use Microsoft Edge, in which case you press the Windows key + Shift + Enter.

I think that did it! Good tip Lori! I roached my laptop keyboard more than a year ago when I spilled a mountain dew on it (gives me an idea what it does to my stomach lining). Some of the keys work, some don't. So I went out and got a logitech wireless keyboard and just lay it on the laptop keyboard. Every once in awhile it slips and hits the laptop keyboard and the screen starts wigging out. Then I have to figure out what happened. What I need to do is disable the laptop keyboard. I think I have to uninstall a driver for that, huh?

You can try going into the Device Manager to disable the internal keyboard. That sometimes works, sometimes doesn't.

To fully disable it, you'd have to open up the laptop and disconnect the ribbon cable. At that point, you'd want to have a replacement and change it out. I replaced the keyboard on my Lenovo just recently with a new one I bought on eBay. It was easy thanks to YouTube, and the keyboard was something like $40. Depending on the model of your laptop, it could be even cheaper.
