Good morning Army. Hope y'all are enjoying the fall weather.

Clocks all changed. The last one to change (which happened at 9:00) was the cable box. And I don't control that clock.

Good Morning Army. I am feeling much better, and will return to work tomorrow.
Robin, I know you are strong but how you keep your spirits up and remain so positive is beyond me. Lord knows I would be one miserable :censored: if I had to endure your problems.
BK must be working to be up at his normal hours. Get some rest, coonass !

Have a Safe and Blessed Day :)

The other option is unacceptable. I firmly believe that the mind has a lot more control over what goes on in the body. Not being positive leaves room for that bad to get in... if that makes any sense.

It probably helps my mind set that I'm feeling great and am doing things that I normally do. Yes there are some side effects that are just annoying but they are not debilitating or slowing me down.

Yes I have cancer. It's there but I don't dwell on it. I don't know how to explain it but it's like I think of it as an illness that is temporary and I take meds to make it go away.

It probably does help that I don't 'feel' it. Not like in the beginning when the fluid made me 'feel' it and I was constantly aware.

I guess I'm stronger than I thought. Whoda think it? ;)

Well I'm up but I haven't changed any clocks yet. I changed my watch back last night. I wish we just left it on one time. I never liked switching. I'll get to it later. Right now I'm moving kinda slow. Robin, you have the right frame of mind going on. You have everything to live for. Stay strong. You have over half the battle won with your determination and mindset.

Finished the garage cabinet top yesterday and power washed today until my arms and shoulders couldn't take any more. I'm not done, but it looks soooo much better. We have covered patios on the front and back, with vinyl siding on the ceiling of them. Did all that, the guttering and patios. Power washing is a pain, but a little addictive.. It's hard to stop, lol! We never got ours going, borrowed this time but we need to purchase one soon.

@Robino1 I agree with the power of positive thinking.

Power washing IS addicting! Especially when stuff is really dirty and there is a large improvement. :D

I've been reading the horrific news of what happened today. The evil is just heartbreaking. When I was young, we never had this kind of thing going on. I worry for my kids, even though they're grown. I don't see it getting any better. I read that was the town's only church too. The amount of suffering that has been going on lately just really leaves me speechless.

Good Morning Army. Another work week begins...
I have a different take on the News of the Day, whatever it might be. I believe it's always been this way but we hear a lot more of it with the 24 hour news cycle. Back n the day, you had half-hour evening newscasts and local papers. The USA Today and CNN changed all of that. The fact is, when Walter Cronkite said "and that's the way it was...." he was reading selected stories from a larger pool of news items. Now we get whatever news we want, or don't want, from over a thousand news sources. I believe it;s always been "so bad" but we just see more of it now.
Isn't that an optimistic way to start your Monday ? :D

Have a Safe and Blessed Day :)

I still haven't had time to change the clocks, and it's 12:37 pm.

Kids will be here in 20 minutes or so..

Hope everyone has a lovely week!

its a conundrum ( or is it a paradox?) ... if you did do it you would have an extra hour to do it ;)

It was soooo bad. I haven't done it in a very long time. Surprised I'm not sore this morning. Hopefully I can finish up next weekend, but there's rain in the forecast.

@Bronze sure tractor wheels count.. but why are you power washing tractor wheels?

I think about what kind of world my grand children will be living in and their children. Then I think about what parents must have thought during the Revolution and the Civil War. I know it doesn't quite compare but in a way it does. Those were uncertain times also and they happened in our backyards!

We would love utopia but that will never happen. We just don't learn. We keep pissing off other countries by trying to impose ourselves into their business.

I don't know...some do need us, others do not.

Messed up world we live in...

Good morning Army. In my little corner of the world, it's a beautiful day.
