April, consider the points your Prime. Lori nailed it. Another thing you could do is make less frequent, but larger purchases. Then not only do you get your shipping paid for, but you get a discount on your next larger order. (By discount I mean the points.) Also if you are like me, wait for a sale. That way you win the Trifecta.
There is no such thing as shipping being paid for unless you mean with points. Shipping is always $4.

I have so much respect for the early settlers here. Their sanity can be questioned, but their hardiness is obvious. Living here without a/c is hard to imagine.

I think about that every summer. Who the heck was crazy enough to stop in the middle of the desert and decide it's a good place to live? Earlier settlers must have gotten here in the winter. Then summer came and they couldn't get out with overheating.
I do usually do that, and $4 is very reasonable, I'm not complaining, I just misunderstood the fine print

God bless them. And you know there wasn't much going on shower, soap or deodorant wise either. It's amazing they were able to procreate.
I for one like the cool down. Been hot and humid for many months so when it goes cool it feels great. Takes a day or two to get used to long pants and flannel shirts but feels good!
