So, cleaning my V5 tank last night I dropped the base and bent it.. Can barely get it to open and close.. Actually I just refilled it and can't get the damn thing open. Luckily it's cheap to replace but going back to my V1 until the new one comes is not fun. Forgot how tight the draw was...

Well good morning... it's Friday.
It's been a long week since the kids left. I was hurting after they left and was down for my birthday on Sunday.
Yesterday, however, was our anniversary and I was doing
better so we decided to go out to eat, as we don't really have any fancy restaurants around I thought a spinach pizza sounded good so we decided to go to pizza hut instead of driving far to eat something nicer. We went there once and got that a year or so ago and it was good.
(My choice on that)
So... we got to pizza hut and first it was downright cold in there.. apparently they aren't turning the heat on yet.. but we decided cold or not we could still enjoy dinner. Placed our order and they are out of spinach so no spinach pizza. .. okay.. I looked at hubby and suggested just paying for our drinks which had already been served and leaving and going elsewhere.
He said no we were already here we would just order something else and stay. We were invested.. lol. Okay.
Then we watched the manager get her dinner from long John silver's next door.. lol. I said this isn't a good sign when not even the employees will eat here, why don't we just go..
No, hubby said.. we've already ordered and that just wouldn't be right to cancel now.. so we stayed.
So, our food came and we were sitting there eating our Italian sausage, mushroom and onion pizza when a bug dropped from the ceiling and went flailing around in our food.
We complained about the bug, went to pay for our order (weren't eating another bite after that) which we were told we didn't have to do (they did comp the meal.. no charge on that) and we left.
Went to the grocery store and picked up a couple things and came home. By then, hubby is sick and spent the rest of the night deathly ill. I wasn't sick too so we didn't think it was food poisoning (although I may not have eaten as much prior to leaving) but still.
So... that was my foray into eating out... I don't think ill be eating out again for a good long time. ill just cook. Happy anniversary to us.. lol.
Hope this weekend is better... hope today is better. Looking forward to cooking some nice food this weekend. hopefully hubby is done puking.
As a beside if any of our truck driver friends ever finds themselves in Grundy Virginia dont bother with pizza hut.

Good morning! Travel day!! I probably won't be able to get online until tomorrow night at the earliest. I'm taking two ProVari and two Kabuki. Along with DF and Nada. I'm not planning on much sleep tonight. Trains blow their whistles at every road crossing. I'll more than likely crash early tomorrow at the hotel.
