Thank you:) It’s been a really rough year.

As a wise man said just a wee while ago, "That well will run dry". Stay strong and blessed!

Fran, so sorry to hear about the loss of your cat. You have had a difficult time these days. My daughter's old cat still lives here. My daughter and her husband got two dogs, and decided the cat was better off with me. I think the cat is about 16, she doesn't look old though. You can easily tell an old dog, but it is hard to see that in a cat. Regardless, I am sorry for your loss and I know it is rough for you. I have two dogs, plus the wild cat. The wild cat took to my son, but when he went into the military, the cat settled for me. She didn't have a choice, since I am the only one here. She still remembers my son, but she knows he isn't staying when he comes home for a visit. When my son was real young he preferred cats. Once he got to be a bit older, he decided he was more of a dog lover. I like both, and I guess that is a good thing.

I would love an update on Scot and Bernie. Praying for the best outcome possible (whatever that is).
I had hoped to hear from Gary today. Not a peep, so that worries me. Hopefully we will hear something in the morning then.

Happy Sunday!
I am NOT working today so it’s laundry, chili, hiking and football... all is right in my world. Man, I was such a baby working last Sunday!
My friends at work had a nice party for me Friday night, celebrating end of chemo, offering support and love for all that lies ahead. Everyone brought frozen meals for my freezer for while I’m off for the next surgery. We lit Chinese wish lanterns and set them free into the night sky.

Sorry Y'all . I lost power at 3am yesterday and didn't get it back until late last night , damd tropical storm Olga popped up outta nowhere . I visited Scot yesterday afternoon , he's in a lotta pain and not happy to be in the hospital . They're putting a drain in Monday , still don't know if they're gonna remove any of the growth while they're at it . Guess they'll decide when they get in there. I'll talk to Scot later today to see what's going on . Berni is going in for surgery later this week , so I'll be getting Scot home when they release him .

    Hey all...
Been a ruff week, drs can't decide as to what to do on permanent basis, so they put in a drain with a negative pressure bulb. They want to see if the drain allows the lymph node to reduce in size. Removal is out of the question since it is sitting on top of the artery.
I've lost 40 lbs since 09 01... the pain from the bone cancer is wicked beyond belief...

The drs finally got it figured out and gave me fentynal patch with oxy... relief to a tolerable degree.

BK, I was seriously getting concerned about you. It was good to get an update. I have had you in my thoughts. This thing really sped up on you. I am so sorry that you have to deal with this. If you don't agree with your doctor, you CAN get a second opinion. Hopefully you can do some more research, and come into an agreement with your doctor about how to proceed. It was good to hear from you and Retic on this. I know this is a huge strain on your poor wife too.
