Kitty finally came home. He’s wet. He’s been quarantined until further notice. I’ll be having a talk with that young man.
I think the wayward little dude is due for some intense corporal cuddling after making everyone so worried about him.

Oh thank God!! :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs::wub:

I was beginning to get a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach over his extended absence!

It has been raining constantly here. Has not stopped in two days. I think he hunkered down. Probably got hungry and figgered it’s better to get wet than to go hungry. I might get one of them gps trackers.

Lots of luck with that 'talk'.
Will be like talking to my shoe.

Outdoor kitties are not the same as indoor kitties.

I know. And it hurts the same when something bad happens to them, indoor or outdoor. They get a certain toughness and honed instinct when they spend a lot of time outdoors. And two of the three outdoor kitties I knew and loved met with early passings.

And don’t bother acting all cavalier with me, young man! You’re not fooling me. You were concerned. :sneaky:

Of course I was concerned. Why take the cat if you’re not going to invest in it? You agree to take the pet then you have the responsibilty to take care of them. I no longer wanted this responsibility after our last cat died five years ago. This one was kinda thrust upon us. I liked when he used to come around and say hello but I also liked when he left and became someone else’s concern. Wish that were still the case but it’s not. That’s not cavalier. That’s fact. But, it is what it is and while some humans abdicate their duty to take care of animals, I’m not among them. :)

Mornin' Arm! :)

General! Good morning. Tonight and tomorrow are predicted to be brutal and the ice from the last storm is still on the trees. Chain saws are at the ready, salt is in the bin, twenty gallons of corn free gasoline, generator is warming, one hundred gallons of propane, one hundred fifty pounds of sand strategically placed over the rear axle of the Tacoma, vodka supplies at the ready - preparation is everything. Mrs CMD and I will never forget the storm of 2009. Our only preparation then was a wise generator purchase.
