Exactly. Not to mention they get in fights (though Whiskey never does), fleas, ticks, UTI, and a whole bunch of other feline maladies and if there is no one to monitor them they die.

I've researched the trackers. I have them boiled down to two. I'm seriously considering getting one if he's gonna be an outdoor kitty. At least it gives me an idea where he is if I want to go out and get him. Not thrilled with doing that. Not one to go crawling up on people's porches but I might have to in some cases.

Haha! I’ll crawl on anyones porch to get my animals!!! Lol
I like the gps tracker idea.
There are definitely health dangers like you said, and they are just as dangerous!

We have lots of dog walkers going by the house every day. All day. It's like a parade. I often cannot recognize the people this time of year because they're buried inside their coats so I have to look at the dog to know who is walking them. Anyhow, I have noticed a definite difference between how men and women walk their dogs. These damn things like to stop all the time to sniff stuff. Women will stop with them and let them sniff around until they're done and start walking again. Not men. The damn dog stops and he immediately yanks on his leash to kick start them again. No patience whatsoever. Got this one dog, Mocha. Sometimes Cree walks her, sometimes John walks her. When Cree walks her the dog is always stopping. When John walks her the dog keeps moving and doesn't stop. They learn.

Lost power for 36 ish hours, but other then that everything is good!
Lost no food since I took everything out of my fridge and put it outside :) freezers and fridge in garage were too cold to ruin as well.
We all slept in my bed and survived. Lol
My work truck has a larger inverter, so was able to make myself and neighbors coffee as needed.
No damage to pipes, learned how to use my water heater so now the water in my house is scolding hot.

Overall a fun week. No work so no production, so no money whatsoever, but I've been getting better at saving, and don't really have any debt.

Today's challenge will be finding milk and eggs, but most importantly half and half for coffee [emoji23]

Oddly enough. The morning before we lost power, we lost hot water... figured something froze but wasn't able to fix myself.
The next day when we were already out of power for 15 hours, we randomly had hot water and that made all the difference honestly. I gave everyone showers and that definitely helped make it thru the next night.

Ahem. Stopping to sniff everything is just the dog's nature. After all, the walk is for the dog's benefit, not the human's; anyone who refuses to let his doggie be a doggie is just being a damn jerk, IMHO.

I didn't say women do it wrong. In fact, they do it right. Men are just impatient. But I don't think they're jerks for not letting them stop every 10 feet to sniff around. At least they get a walk and I never see them complain. :)

That's because most dogs are better than most people. :)

(Oops, did I say that out loud?)
