Ancient tactic — turn brother against brother, neighbor against neighbor, children against parents. It continues because we are easily blinded. It’s effective.
We can start by re-electing no one...especially those who have been in that town for decades. Go from there.
I figured out that the politicians say anything to get in office. Once there what you say lands on deaf ears. They do not truly listen to us. They listen to the ones who own them, in more ways than one. There is the illusion of freedom. But even that is fading in the blink of an eye. This is diametrically opposed to what we were programmed to think. It is not just happening in our country. Things are not what they may seem. Something sinister is behind this. It is a multi-pronged takeover in every way. The ones who control do not give a flip about us, or our feelings. It is all about absolute power and control. The root of it is evil. We are living in the days the bible warned us about.

"Collectively" .....and then some...make that "a lot more"... in certain districts.....did anyone else see the first run of results in certain parts of Detroit....a 200% turnout! A 204% turnout. In several districts.
This is along the lines of my point. What if “we” aren’t even actually choosing? Not even a dem vs repub thing. What if it’s all a sideshow to keep us entertained? How would we know? The corruption runs pretty deep.
Whatever the truth of it is nothing good comes from us turning on each other. Anger and fear are mind killers. We don’t need more of those.

This really is the big problem. The very type of people that want to be in politics are the types we don’t need. And anyone sane enough to do good things, would never run. I’m sure there are a few exceptions, but that’s always been my take on politics.
Received my second-must-order-last-minute HHV today Apr 1. Yes, I most fervently wish it WAS an April Fool joke.
Evening.... This was a really long one. And the dispatcher was there when I got back so I informed him I was taking tomorrow off. He made his snarky replays which I don't care about. I'm still taking it off.
Scruffy is always at the window when I get home. I tap on window at him has I get the mail. Well he wasn't there. So I tapped the glass which gets him there. Still no Scruffy. I called when I came in. Still no Scruffy. Then I heard him. He must have been playing and got the door to the room with the litter box off the wedge (to keep it open) almost closed. And he wasn't able to open it again. Don't know how long he was in there. But he was happy to see me and he was hungry. Fixed it so that shouldn't happen again..
