As it stands right now, the mortgage is paid off, with vehicles are paid off, basic necessities like property taxes and insurances, are less than half of what I would draw. I have a little money in the bank, thinking of maybe CD's for additional income, and I am sitting at a point in life where I really don't need to plan my day on what another man expects of me.
Just whatever Mamaw expects of me !

Before retirement, we spent a few years scrimping along paying off alllllll debt. It is a good feeling and makes retirement "golden". I still do a little for various reason, one of which it is 'luxury' or fun money. It is amazing how little it can take without house, auto, credit cards - good for you, Papaw.

Click on papawbrett, not profile page, it will take you to your account. Will show your avi and say click to change. Then under that it will have a space for 'custom title'. Your 'traveling man' should show up in the box. Just delete it and put the new one.

ETA, be sure to save changes at the bottom of the page. You can see where I changed mine to 'test' so you could see how it works. Hope this makes sense. You should see this:

Good morning Army. Wednesday I had opened my mouth once too many times, and the Boss opened his mouth once too many times, and I said "The heck with this. I'll be drawing Social Security in six weeks, and I don't need this crap." and walked out.
So now I am retied from trucking. And it actually feels pretty good to sleep until sun up. I might look into a parts delivery driver for NAPA, or some piddling little thing of a part time job. No interest in working directly with the public, I've seen enough of them through the windshield.
Getting my vaccination today. All I need is a driver's license. Maybe clear off the old garden and plant a few things just to get my old hobby started again.

I use my Voice Memo app on my phone several times daily. Any time I think of something I need to do I get it on a voice memo. If I dont I forget it. But it doesn’t do any good when you forget where you put your phone.

Good Morning Army. Broke out the old tiller, gas line was rotted. Fixed that and the clay had hardened. Will have to build up my rows to get up off the hardpan. Red and yellow Tomatoes, Bell Peppers, Cucumber, Watermelon, Canteloupe, and Summer Squash seedlings go in this morning. Add pole beans and a few Merigolds for color.
Natasha watched patiently from a shady spot, with her ball. All the pup knows is play ball, play ball, play ball, play ball, play ball......
