Think I upset "Papaw" BK just a tad earlier when I told him I ran 80mph for most of the way between Baton Rouge and here yesterday . Pretty much the flow of traffic except for the people going 90 . Got a lecture about not having to do as others do . :) Thing is I remember two 30 something individuals cutting through much heavier traffic at 90mph+ on their motorcycles cuz they were cold . Seems I also remember a certain bearded individual watching the speedometer nudge 160mph late at night on his bike , not quite old habits yesterday but I've never been long on patience . Funny how things change , somewhat. :D

Wow… vape? vape? Hmmmm… oh yeah, I remember! Vape!

The recipes are the last remaining thing they have of HHV. My guess is that they won’t release them until they give up entirely on the possibility of changes in regulations that would allow their business to re-open and continue. But they do continue to consider it.

I understand, hope springs eternal. I would rather they are able to get back into the business than know the recipe.

I really hate doing this, it is something I rarely do, it is something I may never do again.
    Que the trumpets:
I have a vape related question. Has HHV considered releasing the recipe for Dragon's Fire?
It will be released when everyone has found a suitable replacement. :)

Seriously, I will have a hard time justifying the expense to buy more juice at retail price if/when I have found a suitable replacement. Particularly considering not only the expense in DIY materials but also the incredible amount of time I have in it. I'm actually not far from it. I'd say I'm 80% there. Good enough to vape every day but not quite the grand slam I'm looking for. I'm confident I will keep improving it but it just takes a long time because you have to age it between test iterations...not to mention I'm no flavorologist. I have the base at about 90%. Once I have that close to 100% then I can flood the zone with numerous top notes and really zero in. I have a top note now but, again, I'm confident I can improve on it. There are so many factors involved. Flavor is obviously one of them but even that has multiple layers (base, top notes, inhale, exhale), but there is also texture and saturation. Many NETs are dry and you have to figure out how to knock it out of there without drastically changing the flavor. I like dry NETs but not in an EDV. Overall, I'm happy with the progress I've made. I mean, I did not have what I considered an EDV until maybe 4ish months ago. And I have been working on this close to 2 years now (I saw the handwriting on the wall).

I wish there was an easy avenue to Dragon's Fire (i.e., the recipe). It was easily my favorite and by a large margin. And it sure would have saved me an incredible amount of time and effort trying to replace it. But proprietary is proprietary and I always believed in proprietary.

Looks like Biden is is securing his place in the scumbag hall of fame by bussing in illegals . Trump earned a spot by his use of eminent domain to force people to sell to him and allowing erosion of personal freedoms by an abusive FDA which we witnessed with the closure of our favorite vendor , that along with other acts of stupidity and neglect make him a shoo in . Both join August company , Scumbag Bush had the Patriot act ready well before 9/11 , excellent use of a national crisis to grab broad reaching powers that are unconstitutional . Scumbag Obama opposed the patriot act as a Senator yet one of his first acts as president was to renew it . Scumbag FDR had american citzens of japanese descent locked up in internment camps denying all of their constitutional rights . He probably gave away half of Europe to Stalin as well , It's a wonder Churchill didn't bust an aneurysm at Yalta dealing with those two scumbags .

All of them took a page from a prominent Scumbag , Lincoln , that SOB pretty much began the power grab by the Executive branch using crowd pleasing favorites such as suspending habeas corpus and made discouraging enlistments, drafts, or any other "disloyal" practices subject to martial law and trial by military commissions , this included arresting a congressmen from Ohio and subjecting him to a military trial for opposing the war . Declaring war on and invading one's own country is a showstopper that the scumbags that followed have yet to top , new heights of scumbaggery were reached then. I'm sure I'm only touching the tip of the iceberg when it comes to scumbaggery in the executive branch , these are what come to mind readily . I'll give a dishonorable mention to McCain , I'm sure he would have made a world class Scumbag if he had been elected .Constant power grabs and a useless legislative branch that's only good at hiding the pork in proposed bills , the scumbaggery there is dizzying , beyond count and comprehension. Another dishonorable mention goes to the scumbag chief justice of the supreme court that was appointed by neo-con scumbag Bush , great decision there . I can only imagine what the founding fathers think when they see the mess we're in now .

Quite the collection eh . One abuse of office and trampling of the constitution after the other . We're running a graduate school for scumbags in LA , kindergarten to doctorate .

Gee, I thought I was the only one who hated politicians.

I graduated from hating politicians. I hate those who keep electing the same ones over and over. We get what we ask for.
I wanna go there , the problem is what to do when the entire ballot is composed of scumbags leaving one no choice . Choosing the lesser of evils has yet to work . We should probably vote on the Ballot before a general election but the SOB's will likely rig that as well .

True, but how many people stay home for the primaries? Lucky to get 30% turnout for them. Tells me the electorate pays no attention and doesn't care what they get. And when they don't care they deserve what they get. Additionally, how hard is it to vote for the other guy when the incumbent has been in office for 30 years?

Still doesn't mean the other guy isn't more of a scumbag than the incumbent , I think we're past the point of being totally screwed . I'm not gonna vote for whoever I think is less of a criminal , only if I think one's worth the gasoline to drive to the poll and spending my dwindling amount of time left voting .If the only choice is crap I'm not gonna waste my time choosing one turd over another .

In the primary, for me it is very easy to vote for McConnell's opponent. In the general, that task becomes so difficult that I find it impossible. I voted for him twice without hesitation. The last four elections have been with my nose held.

That's what Ret and I are basically discussing. You vote in the primary where there is a greater chance of finding someone worthy. But when the incumbent wins again, you end up having to vote for the lesser of two evils.

The two senators in my state are utterly worthless and I voted against them in their last primaries then clothespinned my nose in the general. This state has not had a worthy senator since Jesse Helms. Even those who hated him appreciated his honesty and straightforwardness.
