That is pressure treated wood so it is sopping wet. I’m going to stain them but they’ll have to dry out for 2 or 3 months first.
Yeah, I’ll stain them in a few months. I’ll spray them. Not gonna sit there all day brushing them. 4 done, 1 to go.
What are you going to do with them when done?
Couldn't find the 7 for $5. So I got 4 four $7. A sharp drill will make opening the caps much faster and easier.. Also picked up some shrink tubing and a small deburr bit. 
I also made new soft jaws for the vise. Got 1/8th rubber gasket sheets from Lowes. (6inx6in) Cut the parts then used vinyl glue to put then together. Rubber cost as much as I paid for the vise. I'm okay with that as I have enough remaining to replace them or use for other stuff.. Much better than the first ones I made..
Gonna circle them around the fire pit out back. I'll take a photo when it's done. Probably in a week.
HF is having a massive 30% sale beginning today thru the weekend...I believe.Morning.... Wasn't planning to go anywhere today. But I find I need to go to Harbor Freight. My 3/16 drill bit has been through to many magnetic caps and it's not worth sharpening when I can get 7 more for $5. May even find something I didn't know I needed..

The neighbors wander over for campfires. 6-12 usually. They bring their cheesy cheap collapsable chairs that don’t fit in the sack it comes with. They’re uncomfortable and just a PITA ( literally). So now they can leave them in their garages and just bring themselves and their beer.

Hello everyone. Been sick over a week, viral infection of the middle ear. All I know is I've been sleeping 20 to 22 hours a day. But amoxicillin has it's benefits, now it's getting better.
A few days ago temps reached mid 80's here. Broccoli and Brussel Sprouts bolted to seed and turned bitter. Still getting smallish heads of Cabbage though.
Benches look nice Bronze. Let me know when you're bringing them so Mamaw can select the proper lawn space for them.

Geez Pop, I was just thinking about you not more than a half hour ago. Was hoping you and mamaw were doing well. Yep, been really warm the last couple weeks. I’m not ready for the hot stuff. I’d rather it stay cool for awhile longer. Take care of that garden. Lori is getting a jump on hers too. I wouldn’t mind a garden but too much battling the squirrels.
And we are cold here! Getting close to freezing every night for the past 2 weeks. I’m hoping to grow some brussel sprouts this year. I have the seeds but the weather is really hard to predict! It’s hot into the end of Oct.
