This is true.Been in the Northeast all my life. Now that I don’t drive anymore it doesn’t bother me much.
You’re a hardcore Northeasterner! But you’re right, it’s less of a bother when you don’t have to drive in it. It can even be cozy.

Also I’m now living with my Dd and not expected to do any shoveling or walking in it. They do get the driveway plowed but there’s still some shoveling that needs to be done.

Neighbor’s dog attacked another neighbor’s cat today. Practically tore its leg off. All the ligaments are torn, knee cap dislocated. Possible surgery tomorrow. There goes the neighborhood bliss.
Oh no! I’m so sorry. That’s an awful situation and makes people lose their calm. I hope kitty recovers okay.

What are you planning to plant this year?
I have some potatoes and shallots growing well already. Green onions still going strong. Tomato and pepper seedlings are up but still inside. I’ve got seeds for zucchini, bok choy, arugula, daikon (July planting), Swiss chard. Some herbs. The basics. I’m planting small quantities to keep learning.

Also just harvested the last of the lemons. I juice them and put them in ice cube trays. Lemon ice cubes galore! We gave a lot away too. Next harvest in June, and there are so many buds on the tree. I love that tree!

Kitty had surgery today. Gonna be $5,000 plus. There goes the neighborhood. Guaranteed! I’m staying 100% out of it.

Mmmm. The shallots sound good. Don’t know anything about Swiss chard.
