Rainy couple of days starting today. This lil guy found shelter outside my office window. If you zoom in, you can see tiny raindrops on him.

Thank you! I grabbed my Nikon for that shot and used my macro lens extensions. The pic could use some Photoshop TLC, but I kept it as shot for now. It was so much fun!Awesome photo!!!

Wow. Yeah, staying out of it is wisdom.Kitty had surgery today. Gonna be $5,000 plus. There goes the neighborhood. Guaranteed! I’m staying 100% out of it.
No idea. Looks like it has seen better days.Went out for the mail and crossed paths with this poor bird. It didn’t even try to fly off when I got close. I wished I could pick it up and carry it to a drier spot!
Anyone know what bird this is? Dove? Pigeon?

I was thinking the same thing. LolBeautiful work there, David! You’re early for Christmas, eh?
That was kind of my initial feeling. But when you think about it, the dog was just doing what dogs do. Now, the dog owner is another story. They go thru our property to get to the state forest. It buts up to our back and goes for miles. They get out there and turn their two dogs loose and let them run around to their heart’s content. But when Al comes back he always puts them back on the leash before he comes back. Karen (his wife) doesn’t always. You’re asking for trouble with an unleashed dog in the neighborhood. The perpetrator is their Siberian husky. Smaller than an Alaskan husky but still very strong and aggressive dogs. If anyone should meet their maker it should be Karen. She knows better. I suspect Al is letting her have it. I would. If that was my cat and I saw it happening, that dog would have met its maker, in an instant.

Who’s paying the vet bill?Kitty had surgery today. Gonna be $5,000 plus. There goes the neighborhood. Guaranteed! I’m staying 100% out of it.
I bet. You’re smart to stay out of it.It’s a full blown mess.
Whiskey the cat is always a pest.Evening..... Wind chills in the teens all day. I ordered the knobs and magnetics early last year as well. I just decided to go a head and get them done.. The 5 on the left were trouble. They had an different insert. Trouble was it had only a few threads. Didn't think they would last and the insert was really brittle. But I found screw covers that would work on Amazon and I had spare screws from the ones in the middle. Added rubber washers from Lowes and was able to use them. I still have 16 more to do. Unless I buy some more.
Scruffy is being a pest lately. He bugs me a lot because he is obsessed with the laser pointer..
He'll chase it for a few minutes then take a break.

Being a bum?Didn’t work.
Very nice.Evening... Well we made it to 40 today with clear skies. Still felt cool out but much better than yesterday.. I need to watch for a stool at Goodwill. Standing in one place to do anything for long is hard on my lower back. Ten more to do..
