Back from therapy.. My frig is warm again. Took it apart and found the fan wasn't spinning. Got the plastic blade off and was able to put a couple drops of 3-N-1 oil for electric motors in it. Now it's spinning freely. I think I'll start checking Lowes for a new one before this one stops for good. Maybe I can find a scratch and one.

Do you have an independent repair guy that does actual repairing? I had the little fan seize up on my fridge, and the repairman was able to just replace the part and keep the old beast working. I think it was under $200 for the part and service call. The only wrinkle he ran into was a slight change in wiring between the 1985 OEM and the replacement part that was easily corrected.

I think it would cost me more than that. I'd be better off getting a new one.

Afternoon.. It's really hot and muggy out. Glad I mowed the yard yesterday....

I started mowing the lawn yesterday just ahead of sunset and I got nailed twice by bees during my first row. That was the end of mowing for me for awhile. Screw that!
