No, but that’s something I’ll have to try. I received a sprouting kit as a gift and need to get some seeds. I tried sprouting waaaayyy back in the day. Time to try again! Do you grow sprouts?
Yes, I have 2 going at all times. This one (alfalfa) is ready and the big one is still in the dark.

Big one is a quart mason jar. I have a mixture of seeds (radish, alfalfa, broccoli and clover) and one bag of just alfalfa.
Then I know who to ask for help if I mess it up. Do you have them in salads? I used to like pita sandwiches stuffed with sprouts and cucumber, maybe some tomato.

My GD thought it would be fun to pick all the cherry tomatoes while they were green and play with them. :(
Nooooo! I’m so sorry for your loss. They only get away with that when they are too cute to stay mad at.

Long ago I had a golden retriever who loved to eat green tomatoes. I’d holler at him but still he’d come in with his snout all green. :D

Looks VERY tasty Lori. Can’t beat fresh out of the garden.
So true. Today I had my first zucchini. Won’t be long before I’m begging people to take them. But today it was exciting. I also had a red onion that sprouted a few months back. So I pulled it apart and put the sprouted parts in one of my grow bags. Harvested a big one today. Fresh food from what would have been trash or compost. Do I earn points for frugality on that one? ;)

I eat them on sandwiches instead of lettuce and in salads. I grow them for myself and my daughter so that is why I have two going at all times. They are yummy on sandwiches with cream cheese.

Good morning! Long time, no post.. I read back a couple of pages.. but will need updates on anything major..
My quick update.. still working, granddaughter turns 1 in 2 weeks, Big D last sept, moved, amazing BF, 2 new pups, LIFE IS GOOD..
Maya is 6 months, Luna is almost 4 months. Mini Bernedoodles. This pic cracks me up because Luna's feet are off the ground. It's harder than you think to get a good pic of 2 pups!
ETA: I forgot how to make pics smaller..

    Bridget!!!!

I thought of you earlier this week, wondering how you are. So happy you stopped by here. I’m glad you are doing well. You look fantastic — as always — and happy too. The pups are adorable!

It’s pretty quiet here lately, so not much to update. But it’s great to see you!

Looking great Bridget! You appear to be doing well since losing Big D .
Not much new here in Arizona. I retired a year ago last March, enjoying retirement with my soul mate of 49 plus years.
