That was the cheapest of the estimates, lol. Others were almost $1000. He did use one of those machines. Looks like a mower but sucks up leaves, chips small branches and bags them up.

Not just leaves though. He is hauling off a partial tree that was down and some other junk. Plus, weeded a flower bed and put barrier and mulch down.
Well, that’s quite a bit more.

Evening... I should do the leaves in the front yard again. Maybe tomorrow.. I did replant my two Shamrock plants. That means dumping them and collecting parts of the roots and putting them in new soil. Besides Bamboo stalks it's the only thing I can grow in the house. And those have to be in the kitchen. The only place that gets enough light. Been years since I messed with them.

I was given 2 of these snake plants this past summer. Put them in 1 big pot and they are pushing up lots of new shoots. They need very little sunlight and only want watering once a month. I have them in the bedroom by a north facing window. They are one of the few plants that releases oxygen at night. Gotta be good for us!

My mom had those when I was a kid. They multiplied quite rapidly. And you couldn’t kill them.

Worked on truck today, again. Replaced the window beltlines (drivers side). It’s that little strip of rubber that is against your outside window to keep out rainwater. Keeps the bottom of the door from rotting out. Mine have disintegrated. Of course they never make it simple. Had to tear apart the door. I’ll do the passenger side later this week.

My Sunday was spent pulling the summer vegetable plants and then transplanting some of the fall/winter seedlings. Had to rig up netting because the moths are still active and their babies keep eating all the leaves.

Now this bed has kohlrabi, kale, cauliflower and rapini (broccoli rabe). Also some daikon, parsley, chard and collards. No idea if anything will produce, but I’m going for it anyway.
