Cyber bimbo #2 is history. Appearently she just wanted. a weekend at the beach.
Three new cyber bimbos in early stages. One says her husband is cheating (but she's online), another is three hours away (Raleigh) and the mystery maiden is somewhere in Tennessee, I think.
Whatever happened to just grabbing a six pack and going to the local dance ?
Have you checked to see if any of the local churches have any social activities . You might meet some ladies that way . At least you get to see what the actually look like and maybe have a conversation wiith some of them . Worth a shot at least .

How is it going, Lori? Seeing Eaton Fire is 1/3rd contained. These upcoming winds can't be helpful.
It’s been a little less stressful every day. No new fires and hoping this latest round of winds doesn’t kick up any new fires.

I saw video of the fire that started half a mile from us on the same night that Eaton started. It was a towering fire! Firefighters knocked it down and then nearby homeowners kept watch with their hoses. When the fierce winds got going the fire kept re-igniting and embers started flying.

Finding out we were “this close” to a big fire like Eaton… it’s wild. I’m so thankful. But also sad because it was so horrible for so many.

Looks like it might have been our power company failing to shut off power to a 220kV tower that stood in the midst of a dry canyon during a historic wind event.

Evening... In the teens again today. Should be going to the 30s for a couple days then back to single digits. Went for the follow up on my MRI this morning. Doctor does see any reason for a biopsy. He is suggesting a treatment called Aquablation for the prostate gland. I open to it. Medicare will cover it but I'll have to do some more checking to see what my cost would be.

Many congregations have singles mixers. Go where the people you want to meet are.

Man I'm finally getting over my first covid infection. I didn't have that in my bingo card for 2025. Because of all my other health issues I got an anti-viral right away so that helped tremendously.

I haven't been able to walk since June of 2022 - that makes it difficult to be out in the public. Even with 2 kids in high school - im not generally exposed to the flu or covid.

the entire week still just feels like a jumble.

I actually go to churches several times a month, but I never sit in the Big Room. I always sit in the basement or the Activities Hall with the drunks (A.A.). But I am not going there....
(side note - yesterday marked 32 years clean and sober)
The Cyber Dating is a waste of time and money. Half of the 'Seniors' are young women looking for a Sugar Daddy. I would probably have better luck at Walmart.
Still working part-time. Still have Natasha lying at my feet. Might be better off with a good dog than a younger woman, anyways. At least Natasha doesn't cuss at me in public...

Sup ya'll - just trying to stay warm here in Chicago. Both the teens are remote learning on this -10ish day. Can't even let my puppers roam in the yard.

I've been watching Mythbusters like non stop for the last few days. The science is so fun to watch and both of my teens love the practical application of blowing .... up. Can't ask for much more as a parent lol!

Want some depressing stats? 63% of men in their 20s are single (that's twice more than women). This number has been exploding the last 10 years and especially the last 5. Many of them never want to get married again (or for the first time), they do not want to date, they don't want to have sex with them, they don't want to interact with women unless they have to. That's the sad part. Here's the scary part (for society). They are no longer depressed or disappointed about it and are living in total peace and will never change. In other words, these men have checked out permanently. I had a friend check out permanently. I didn't believe him. He's kept that promise to himself. He made that promise 45 years ago. The overall reason given for this trend: "There's nothing in it for me except hell". BTW, 50% of males between ages 18-24 have never asked a girl on a date. Oh, I could write a book about how this happened. I studied this intensely over the recent months because my neighbor girl is 20 and no one has ever asked her on a date (and she's cute). Let me leave you with one word you can research. "Hypergamy"
Hey! Long time no talk. :)

No longer building it, living in it.
Cool! And I'm guessing you're one of those guys I mentioned above...at peace. :)

If I had to do it all over again I would not get married , I'm happiest when I'm by myself . I've known my wife for fifty years and she still hasn't learned that when I say I am not gonna discuss something it's final as far as I'm concerned . The more she presses the nastier I get .For me it's a matter of lack of respect for the issues I'm dealing with . I'm in pain most of the time now and I've lost interest in a lot of things , the drugs I'm on have shot my short term memory to hell . I had an MRI 2 weeks ago and it confirmed what I already knew , I'm headed for more spinal surgery for multiple issues . It makes a lot of things trivial in light of it . Recovery is gonna take a lot longer due to my age . Not looking forward to it but I have no choice . I'm in no mood to be bothered with BS right now .

Ret, when a cat is in pain or dying they isolate themselves. They hide. Might be about the only thing about a cat I understand. :)
Scot and I used to trade " war stories " but he's not up to that either lately , radiation treatment a coupl'a weeks ago really got the best of him . I have to set a time to talk to him , telemarketers have aggravated him to leave his phone off unless he kwows I'm gonna call him . He's withdrawn a lot and so have I . I have cataract surgery in the morning , looking forward to being able to see the sights on my .45 again so at least I got something to hope for .

There's no lack of them in Shreveport , I bought a 12ga Winchester pump for the house . I could not see well enough to be sure of hitting with the .45 . My old Mossberg needs repairs . I trust more in 00buckshot than a 45 hollowpoint anyway . Scot asked me why I bought anothe shotgun , told him I'm blind as a bat then he went to the range with his guns and couldn't hit a target because he can't see the sights either , kinda surprised him . told him now you know why I bought the Winchester . I put a fiber optic sight on it , put the green dot on target and pull the trigger , end of problem .

Great! I know from nothing about fiber optic sights, but I'm glad to hear it worked.
