Lalalalalalalalalalala, I can't hear you! I'm NOT touching my order from HHV yet! I'm not. I swear.

And it's just as well, I finally completed my spreadsheet of e-cig expenses versus cigarette savings. Bad news is it will be three more months before I break even. Good news is I've got 512 ml of juice (minus what I've vaped already and minus what I've given my Mom and I'm not keeping up with that). I guess I sort of kind of felt like an anorexic at an all-you-can-eat buffet with the juices over the last three weeks eh? Like a horse to water, a moth to light, an ant at a picnic.

Ha ha ha. Me too. I aint lookin' in that cabinet. I refuse! Can't say I have anywhere near the juice you have but I'll bet I could impress you with my junk box full of failed e-cig experiments.

Ok an update.

A week later and the gandalf is finally decent. Was convinced I had thrown my money away and it was going in the trash but cause of you guys on this thread I kept trying it every day and finally today its not bad. In fact I might even like it. Still on the fence on it but I no longer hate it :p

It is growing on me. Maybe an acquired taste.

I was the same way with Waffles and Devil's Fire. I didn't get it and they tasted like nothing, or what little taste they had I didnt' care for. The steeping did it for me. Now, I give the Waffles a workout in the morning, and take the Devil for a ride at night ;)

There's not telllin' what I'll vape in between those times.

OK Gthomp and Dante, time to buck up here. I need another juice vendor.

Honestly, I haven't tried a whole ton of the different juice vendors, and most of the ones I've tried I wouldn't recommend, so I might not be the best person to ask. I had a go to vendor I used for a long time, bought the vast majority of my juice from them. They had several juices I really liked, including the ONLY menthol I ever liked, but then the quality went straight to hell. Some months ago it got to the point that every time I ordered from them it seemed like they had changed the recipe (again!), which at best ranged from not as good as I had gotten used to, to downright nasty. I'd rather not mention the name. The past few months I've been on my own search for juice.

AVE is one I'd recommend. Boba's Bounty is a must try (although it needs AT LEAST a full week steeping, and more is better, sorry).

Pink Spot also gets a thumbs up, but they're one of the more pricy out there. I pretty much only buy Swagger now because of that, and I treat it like liquid gold. If I spill a drop on the floor I lick it up (just kidding.... or am I?).

And of course HHV, but you already knew that.

I wish I could recommend NiteLiteVapor. They have quite the cult following. Their Bounty Hunter came in third I think in the juice of the year last year. People just rave about them. Unfortunately, I've never managed to get hold of any. They only take orders once or twice a month and only accept a certain number of orders when they do. And now their CC processor has dropped them, and they're scrambling to find a way to take orders at all. I really want to try them, but such is life.

There's quite a few I see mentioned and highly recommended that I sometimes feel like I should try, but that are mostly famous for deserty/fruity flavors. Most of them have a tobacco line, but I don't see anyone really plugging that part of their line, and reading the description on the website usually sounds like "oh yeah, we also carry this tobacco flavored stuff". I like my tobacco flavors. I do like a change of pace sometimes, and I've tried some of the "other stuff" that's pretty good, but I've yet to find a non-tobacco that I can vape for more than a few minutes at a time.

Thanks for the update Ringo. And that's very encouraging. Is the choco/cocoa/mocha/coffee taste subdued? I don't know if you saw Dante's picture of his Gandalf. It's in this thread on the previous page or two. Big difference in color. Take a peek at it. Anyhow, keep posting updates as you get into this for another few days or week. Thanks.

Placed my second order today - more Dragon's Fire (favorite juice) and another sampler with Oompa and Pirate's Booty - I believe these are the only tobaccos I have not tried. Threw in Vanilla Dream and Mocha Java Smooth to try something different.

I'll say it again: I did not like HHV at all when I first received them, then within 2 weeks they were my favorite. It's really strange how some juices change soooo much with time.

I'll look into AVE and Pink Spot. I know that Boba's is very popular. What I know of it is it falls in that family of caramel/vanilla/nut flavor category. I kind of toot that now with my TN Cured/Silverthorn blend from Johnson Creek. I'm having more luck burning that in my Mini Nova. Burned nicely last night and all day today so far. It's a 70/30, TN Cured (JC's PG version)/Silverthorn (VG). I used to use the VG version of TN Cured to make a 100% VG blend but it's way too thick. Now I use the TN Cured PG version and it does much better. I think I will wait to try the bottom coil before doing anymore 100% VG juice. I'm looking forward to vaping those HHV samples. I figure I will do that on Saturday. That will have given it a full week to steep since I received it and a full 10 days since it was shipped. Thanks again for your input Gthomp. Heard anything about Copper Creek except for their #1 House Blend award? Off to look at AVE and Pink Spot.

Boba's is my all day, every day. I don't get caramel or nut, but I do get greatness from it ;)

I made a review on Copper Creek when she first started the company out. I have a written review as well, but, I didn't feel like searching for it, lol. Sorry.

Boba's is the most "tobaccoey" juice I vape. It's a strong tobacco to me anyway. It's a weird juice, sometimes I taste one thing and sometimes I taste another, but I can always taste the tobacco.

AVE is closed right now, but should be opening back up anytime now (and having a grand re-opening sale to boot).

I keep going to the copper creek website intending to place an order. I feel like I should try the #1 voted juice of the year. ya know? But I always find myself thinking, "cookie dough, seriously?".

Boba's is definitely sweet, but nothing like an RY4 to me. Has a unique tobacco base and I think that it's complex and always notice different things in it. I actually prefer AVE 555. I have to thin them down a bit for use in a Nova as they are 100% VG.

That sure is what is coming through loud and clear from the other posters on this thread.

Exactly why I haven't placed an order with Copper Creek! You and I think alike.

Thanks for the vid. Always like watching vids. I'm not into the fruities either but I am willing to try them. For now I want to concentrate on the tobaccos. Got me a peach flavor. I cannot imagine vaping it every day but from time to time I don't mind it. The RASP-berry danish could be interesting. That House Blend just scares me. Too desserty if you know what I mean. I'm a meat and potatoes guy and I always skip dessert. I wonder about her other "tobacco" flavors. Voodoo or VooBrew or whatever it is she calles them.

Since then, I haven't ordered from Copper Creek. Mainly because, though the juices were good, they weren't what I was looking for. I too enjoy the tobaccos.

I love pirates booty and gandolf is my second. I have Oompa but have yet to try it since i first got it and it tasted like nothing really. But i love that booty.

I was the same with oompa. Nothing special at all til after a week or so then all of a sudden the cocoa hit. I'll be trying Tuscan cocoa tonight for the first time. Thinking these may be similar. That'll kind of decide if I reorder oompa or the Tuscan cocoa.

LOL Have no fear Eddard! I guarantee that before too long, you'll have so many flavors that steeping will be automatic simply because you can't get to them all any earlier:vapor:.

I have found that any tobacco flavored juice requires two weeks to steep. While it is tough looking at the new juice that long, it always pays of for me! The fruits and sweets are less taxing on the patience, IMHO.
