Don't ask what's in the pie...

I know what's in the pie, what is served at the Red Wedding, what happens in the privy of the Tower of the Hand. But the show is not ruined for me just cause I read all the books. HBO has done a really fantastic job so far. I hope season 3 gets back to being a bit more focused like season one was, but I still liked two a lot. And my Lannisters have so very much to attend to!

Agreed. I've dissected the books more times than I care to admit. Still love the show.

My biggest question is what makes it into season 3, and what waits for season 4? I mean, we know one event that is sure to make it, but the rest?

I saw a blog that made me smile. It was about the filming in Iceland. They said Ian Whyte was filming up there. He was a White Walker in the series premiere. Filled in as the Mountain in Season 2. And now he "has some pretty big shoes to fill." :) I was wondering if we'd see them.

And I'm really looking forward to a certain Lannister's story this year. ;)

Yes, and this to me is when Jaime went from being a worthless self-absorbed punk, to starting his remarkable arc that puts him where he is at the end of book five. He will never be a "good guy", but he may find a redemption of sorts. Books two and three are both all about the lions. But things start to go badly in this book, and REALLY wrong in book four. Martin needs to hurry the hell up and finish the next one so he doesn't die before he is done.

IDK, I'd say things go pretty wrong in book 3. :) (Unless, that is, you're across the pond and ASOS was split in 2 on you, then, yeah)

ASOS is "The Empire Strikes Back" for ASOIF. Seems like everyone has a bad day. Some worse than others...

I worry about GRRM finishing the series too. My only consolation is that I think Dan and Dan know the broad strokes about how it all will end. Worse comes to worse, they'll finish it. Not as well as George, but at least it will finish. Unless, that is, George buckles down and cranks out the last 2 books. But considering his time average per book, and all of the demands on his time he may not have had a few years ago, yikes.

Good morning :)

Quiet night last night? I hope all of you New Englanders are prepared for the snow event. I will be watching the news in balmy warmth. ;)

We need more chatter again. Hula, where did you put those teeth?
We have the plumber here this morning so I've put off cleaning for a bit. My muscles need a break.

Busy is better than not having a job eh? Hope it slows a bit for you soonish! Baltimore is not supposed to be affected by the storm, right? More like northern New England.....

I remember as a kid in mid Michigan, we would get lake affect snow that would put this "storm/blizzard" to shame. :)
Be safe out there Picc. ;)

So, after a late late late night (almost 4 a.m), I am up with first coffee of the day in hand! Took a look outside, and just walked away. I'm not ready for that just yet.. Snow is above my front step which is 7 inches tall. Reminder: I have a 100 ft or so drive-way!! 8-o

That guy wasn't old yesterday! He was your age...
It's quite sad the panic in peoples eyes when food shopping for end of world situations...

I knew a guy who built a really lavish wooden deck for some rich people who then stiffed him. After his repeated demands for payment went ignored, he took matters into his own hands. He went over there on a Sunday morning at dawn with a chainsaw and cut the whole thing down.

It didn't get him any money, but he said it sure felt good knowing those mooching bastiches weren't getting something for free out of him.

I lived in an apartment a long time ago and when I moved in they told me the shower tub was brand new. When I went to move out I kept scrubbing it because there was this grim on the bottom I couldn't get off... but as I was scrubbing, the grim kept getting bigger and bigger. Turned out, the tub wasn't new, they just put a crappy coat of paint on it that was lighter than the underneeth color. So they told me they where gonna charge me for repainting the tube again. Me and my buddy where so ...... that we filled the tub with as much paint thinner as we could find after we got what was left of our deposit back.

Speaking of impressions... I'm going to take back something I said about Bleeding Heart a couple weeks ago. I don't remember exactly what I said, but it was something along the lines of "My God, this stuff is nasty, tastes like Eau de Portapotty, and is responsible for everything wrong with the world." I'm not going to revise that statement by much, except to say that the second bottle I ordered, for reasons I don't understand, does not taste nearly as much like Brittney Spears' latest perfume project. It's actually not bad. I wouldn't call it great, but it's certainly vapable.

I figured here was a better place than the juice review thread to say that. Hopefully these comments will be lost to the ages in the same way my initial disgust has been.

Yea, I was getting some flowery perfume taste out of it as well after 2 weeks of steeping. So I left it alone and its been a month now. I'm hoping that all it needed was a little more time. I'll have to check it again soon and see how it is.

I can't just open them for "ventilating" purposes and than left them for 2 weeks aside, not to try them. I'm dripping them into 510, just 2x3 drops ov every juice, thats my plan. After steeping, they will end up in carto tank with Boge (just got 50 Boge cartos and Varadero is on his way).

And I never asked, what is Purity standing for? Just for the line of liquid or that also means something regarding liquid?

Can't search for pics right now, they are on some of memory sticks in some of the drowers, but you should see the amount of snow few years ago in Monte Negro. Up to the house roofs.

This looks nice if you are on vacation and are into skying on the mountain... if that is not the case, than it's just annoying.
