Heather's Heavenly Vapes - THE BIG THREAD

Ah ya. They do sell wide mouth drip tips. And HHV 100%vg is actually pretty thin.

Lil steroid cream should help the dermatitis too. Hydrocortisone 1%. Think 2% requires a script.

Hey thanks! I'll have to get me some wide mouth drip tips. I've got so much to learn! I really want to pick up a couple of Cisco 306 atomizers too. I saw that you like them. I just slathered down with coconut oil to see if that helps, but I'll pick up some of the cream tomorrow. And HHV will be getting another order from me. It is a very clean nice vape. Thanks again...

what were the 3?

All Johnson Creek

Silverthorn (100% VG)
TN Cured (100% VG and 100% PG...they sell it both ways)
Why can't I think of the third?
I mix and blend Silverthorn and TN Cured in all sorts of other juices even from other vendors. I don't know why, but I'm addicted to those two flavors and they can make unvapeable juices vapeable by mixing in about half and half. Good way not to waste juice. I made a blend tonight of LIQUA Traditional (which isn't bad) with some Silverthorn and TN Cured and it was absolutely killer. I couldn't repeat the exact recipe because I don't know what the proportions were. I was just being a mad scientist and dumping a little of this and a little of that. Who woulda thunk?

Yeah Cisco 306's are hard to beat for the price. Highly recommend them. They will eventually start to leak so have a back up plan like an empire mods drip shield (you need a sealed 510-510 adapter and an extra long 306 tip for these, both of which they sell) or I love my DCA from goodsense.

I know it's a PITA, but removing the drip tip, drip straight on the atty, and then reinserting the drip tip is ok. Just try not to let anyone see you do it. ;)

LOL. I've done that several times tonight. I have found that if I hold the bottle about an inch away and play "ring the hole" and then drip, gravity seems to push it through further. Sometimes. Am I the only one who gets leak around the bottom of the atty? Is that normal? Tissues are my friend....

Shhhhh. That's how I do it. Lol. I hate getting a drop stuck in there and suck it right on my tongue with the first hit. Although gandalf actually tastes pretty good. Lol.

Yup. Just said it. Drip shields fix this. Well not fix but help.

Hey GT, I filled this new CE3 for the third time without cleaning and it's still vaping like a chimney! And they're all at least half VG's.

Higher PG I can sometimes get 6 or 8 fills out of one (if I'm feeling particularly lazy). Even 100% VG I usually get 3 sometimes 4. Boba's is the only one that gives me a lot of trouble. Sometimes halfway through the 2nd fill I'm wishing I'd cleaned it after the first. :)

Hmmm...should I be using a 510-510 adapter for a regular Joyetech atomizer? Sometimes my juice leaks into the battery connection.

No it's not necessary. It's only needed with Empiremods drip shields because the 306 attys are shorter.

I should add a regular 510 atty with one of their drip shields doesn't require the adapter either. Just for 306's.

Ahh, gotcha! It would seem to me that someone could design a better method. One that wouldn't let the juice leak from the atty and get in the battery connection. So a drip shield will not allow juice to get on the battery post? *taking notes* :)

There's really nothing to cleaning them either. But I know what you mean. I learned quickly with vaping that you keep riding the wave while the surf's up. In other words, if it aint broke, don't fix it.

Someone did. It's called a "cartomizer." (Ducks unused ashtray winged at her head by Mr. Mann.)

Correct. In theory it traps any leaked juice and you can actually suck it back in. I've found you still have to clean it but it does eliminate the need to carry tissues with you. The DCA actually seals the atty in its own lil chamber so nothing gets out. It's for 306's.

That Boba's sounds like it's as thick as peanut butter. I went to the AVE site tonight. Still moving I guess. And I couldn't find Boba's anywhere on there. GJ either.
