I bought the tobacco sampler pack from MOV based on some hype Ive read here. I'll just say this about it... I'm glad it was just a sampler pack. And this... I couldn't wash the flavor out of the atty no matter what I did. 'Nuff 'bout that.

I received two sampler packs from HHV. I was hesitant to order because of the 12mg limit as I usually vape at 18mg. A vape is useless to me if I dont have TH... reminds me of an analog that went out -- annoying.

I have only tried two of HHV's so far. Heavenly tobacco and Oompa. This is already the best $20-ish bucks I've spent in a long time. I'm stunned at the TH on both of these liquids. "Heavenly tobacco", nee "RY-4" could easily change names again to "Hazelnut tobacco". The caramel and vanilla that are included in the description are both mild and not disruptive to the main characters in the blend. A very nice vape and a definite re-buy for me. Ooompa hasn't bowled me over but it's definitely vape-able.

TH-wise, apparently, 12mg at HHV is 18mg elsewhere. Colour me surprised. =)

I had the same concerns about the 12mg when I am vape 18mg. So this is good news. When you reorder, are you going to stay with the 12 or bump up to the 18?

Like medicine, right? =)

Glad you were able to get the flavor out of the Phoenix. I had no such luck with my atty. This was a de-wicked atty too, so where that flavor was sticking is beyond me. I soaked it in alcohol and dry burned it -- no dice. I steamed it over a tea kettle -- no dice. I soaked it in white vinegar -- no dice. Want-2-Vape's "atty refresh" had no effect on it either. Singularly, these methods have always worked for me in the past but in this case... all of them failed. So, even though it measured at 2.2 ohms, exactly where a Joye atty should be, I tossed it. They come in a really nice tin box, tho.

Nooo I get an intense pine flavor out of these. Ya I pitched the whole wick and coil and put a new one on.

I started with the 24mg but this stuff is so good 24mg was giving me a buzz from vaping too much. 18mg is perfect. The 12mg samples have the same throat hit but I'm not sure it'd keep my nicotine cravings at bay.

Interesting Varrius. I'm just wondering how much steeping is necessary. You put them aside for a couple weeks but perhaps only a couple/few days were needed. At any rate, I appreciate the heads up. Perhaps I'll whiff it before usuing it to be sure that choco aroma is gone first. BTW, I vape a lot of JC's too. Good stuff but not the best burning juice. Thanks

I was kind of smelling and sampling a few of them all along, so a couple of weeks seems to be about right for me as far as steeping goes on these HHV's. Others like them right away, so who knows.

I can say, that for whatever reason, chocolate addition to tobacco flavors appears to be a popular practice in the industry. If I understand correctly (haven't tried it myself) the ever popular boba's bounty has a chocolately base as well. I also have some swagger from pink spot that has a chocolate in it. I don't particularly understand it myself, but the more I'm tasting them the more I'm understanding why they do it. Vaping is not the same as smoking, and tobacco only flavors probably aren't that great. At any rate, most of the HHV tobacco will still have a hint of chocolate, even after steeping. At first this really turned me off as I ordered tobacco not chocolate, but I'm getting used to it and liking it, at least for now.

As for JC, I do like some of the flavors and they smell and taste somewhat like tobacco to me, and somewhat like liquid smoke at times. I've been experimenting with mixing and matching their flavors and it has worked ok. More than anything I like being able to get a PG/VG ratio around 50/50, which they don't offer bottled. It does, as you've mentioned, clog up the system quite a bit though.

Just read the disappointment in another thread over the MOV tobacco line. I just placed an order for a sampler from Heather's Heavenly Vapes last night (all tobacco flavors). Is anybody familiar with HHV's tobacco flavors?

Just got my sample pack the other day and I did not like any of them :(

That's exactly what I'm doing with the JCs..trying to get a 50/50 PG/VG. So far I have tried 50/50 JC Original (PG) with Siverthorn (VG). I love that Sliverthorn but it's a VG juice. But it does well with mixing by taking out nasty flavor from other tobaccos. I like the Original except at the end. Don't like that girl scout mint cookie flave on the back end. Mixing it 50/50 with Silverthorn takes most of that out and ends up being a pretty good blend. My fave JC blend is 50/50 Silverthorn with TN Cured (VG version). But it burns like crap cuz the result of the blend is still 100% VG. So I have the TN Cured in the PG version on order and I'll try that. JC's has good flavors. Just can't get their 100% VG to burn consistently. Too bad.

Went back and read it ... Caps are off and they are steeping.... I hope they improve I really do cause I honestly found them gag worthy at first vape :(

Was really excited to get them and so disappointed when I tried them.

Yup definitely gag worthy. First hit of the 555 and I would've swore someone sprayed insect spray in my throat. (MOV 555!! not HHV). Lol. Actually HHV don't have a 555. They have heavenly tobacco. Anyways...

Had to read the entire thread, but, I thought you were talking about HHV at first. But now, I believe you're speaking of a different vendor?

I thought it odd, with the HHV banner and all. :)

A little off topic, but, do you think you could PM me with your impressions of the Pheonix atty? I have read many reviews, but, I like to hear many sides of the story. I'd appreciate it!

I understand Johny. I have my HHV sampler coming tomorow. I'm planning on just putting it up for a week or more. If you read HHV's website, the very first message is they are apologizing for being busy and having to delay orders. That doesn't bother me much but what it tells me is they aren't putting much product on their shelves to sit. It comes right out of the mixer and right on a truck to be delivered to the customer. So I guess if we want to fairly evaluate their juices, we're just going to have to be patient. I've heard enough good from them that it's probably worth it.

Not a problem. And nooooooo I've loved everything from HHV. Gandalf and mocha java are my top two. I even made my own banner and designed some banners for Adam at HHV.

Yea I figure with all the rave reviews there's got to be something there. Will definitely revisit them but for now they are put to the side.

This is off the HHV thread...

Just a public service announcement from a concerned customer of HHV :)... we all need to realize that Heather hand mixes each individual bottle of juice! I had the opportunity to visit and see for myself, I was under the impression that I placed my order and it was just poured from a big batch that had been pre-made ... nope each bottle is mixed as the order comes in... this takes time and I feel sorry for Heather's hands ! LOL anyway HHV's juices are well worth the wait I just wanted to put this out there in case people thought what i did!
