RJ you might be on to something there are too many kids that just don't get any love or attention at home. Give the kid one chance have him over for dinner and game night or a movie just to show him what it can be like...I realize he just might be a rebel but when it comes to kid so like to give them a chance

Well, there's one I don't even need to try. I HATE clove. It always reminds me of the smell of the dentist's office when I was a kid.

That's dry socket paste. We hate it too.

And a metric assload of elbow grease.

I've got a hot roll recipe that uses the kitchen aid mixer, no elbow grease required. Fabulous. Going to try it tomorrow but in cinnamon roll form. I've got my 8 y/o niece all weekend, we girls gotta find something fun to do while her parents are living it up in Vegas.

No tea party, I couldn't make the boys sit through that kind of torture. But she will enjoy helping me in the kitchen. Her Mom doesn't cook much, and her Dad runs a restaurant so cooking isn't on his list of fun things to do at home. I do have to mention that she is an only child (demanding, wants it NOW ) so we'll all be ready for her Mom by Monday.

Me too. After going to the grocery store after work and eating pizza...I'm so sleepy. BUT!...I'm set for the weekend. PJs are already on. A beautiful roast and full pantry awaits me. I will put it on early in the morning so we can smell it cook all day tomorrow. Then watch the football game and drink beer. Scary movies tomorrow night. I'm not going ANYWHERE! We get so tired of always having to go somewhere or do something or someone wanting something from me. I'm hibernating until Monday morning. I'm so excited....

Aw man, what happened Chak? You're a real good egg so it can't have been too bad......... unless you were caught in the clutches of some hot chick of course. I'm pretty sure that one would send you to jail, directly to jail, not pass Go nor collect $200 (or clean underwear and good meals per Papaw....)

Since there has been so many requests and Mama Chak seems to have cooled down and even did some therapeutical shopping for plants with her friend and cousin. She actually left me alone at home half the day.

It went like this... Our school direct deposits our pay check into an account and Friday was payday. My plan was to go to the bank before noon and transfer some money to my primary bank then meet up with some fellow teachers for lunch and a couple cold ones. We were to meet at 11 and I was expecting a tutor at 2 that afternoon so I wasn't planning on staying long. Sounds innocent enough, right?

First mistake: I didn't tell Mama Chak where I was going, but did call as soon as I got to the bank. I didn't take the car just walk out the front door and got a taxi.

Second mistake: I didn't realize the payroll wouldn't clear the bank till sometime after noon! UHG.

Third and fatal mistake: Called the student and cancelled class to spend more time with buddies. One buddy had a friend visiting from South Africa and we were having a grand ol' time. Called Mama Chak to tell her this and it didn't please her much at all, especially when I when I got home at 8:30 PM. She would much rather have me invite my buddies over to our place for lunch/dinner & drinks. I know she loves me and worries whenever I'm out of the house, (still thinks I can't handle the natives, even after living here for 20 odd years).

You're right Hula. It would have been a lot worse being caught in the clutches of a hot chick in the red light district. That would not send me to jail first, but to the hospital to get my family jewels sown back on. Not my style to do be messin' round like that. One woman is hard enough to please and, as you can see, I don't always do a good job of that.
