Ya I could go for a pint of gandalf and mocha java. Just to mention I placed my first order at RAWR today. They even add on some of their descriptions if the juice needs steeping or not. Kinda nice to add.

That's where I read that! I happened to be looking over their website last night. Let us know how it samples out.

So I'm thinking HHV has found some evil method of making their juices burn up more quickly than others. I mean, for instance, I really like Boba's, and I can fill a 1.5ml clearo up with it and vape on it for hours. One tube of Boba's will last me most of the day at work. But I put one of these HHV juices in a clearo and 30 minutes later it's half empty. This is sorcery. I'm calling foul play.

The fact that my driptip hasn't left my mouth barely long enough to exhale for that 30 minutes couldn't have anything to do with it.....

I gotta admit, Huntsman is pretty darn good. It may overtake Gandalf. I vaped Huntsman all day and on the drive home I realized it reminded me of a Swisher Sweet cigar. It has a lot of cigar-y/sweetness to it, not the dessert type of sweetness. The throat hit is one of the best I've had in my short four weeks of vaping. If I closed my eyes it felt and tasted like I was smoking. I don't recommend doing that in rush hour traffic though! I came home and vaped Gandalf and more chocolate came through than in Huntsman. Huntsman is quickly becoming one of my favorites. I bet their Swisher Sweet juice would be soooo good. I wish I had ordered it to try it out.

I like hearing all the praise for the non-Gandalf HHV's. Gives me hope that I will find at least one good one out of my sample batch. I'm just getting tired of waiting!

I've had a few people say that Huntsman is a better version of Dragon's Fire. I can't wait to try it, Dragon's Fire is pretty darn good.

That's sure what i get from huntsman. That same spice tone to it as dragons fire but much stronger and sweeter. I could definitely get used to huntsman but it's one of those flavors that lingers in my Phoenix. Maybe I'll set aside a 306 just for huntsman. Did that with HHV blade runner too. Great flavor but it's mint flavor tends to linger too.

Yep, I am guilty of a BMV giganto bottle (was that Mann I heard thudding to the floor again in a dead faint?). I guess it all depends on the vendor and the date they made them in the first place. I know Heathers (AHA! See I managed to stay on topic sorta kinda lol) is working 24/7 to keep up with demand so you can guarantee the born on date is going to be very very very recent upon your receipt. For quick steeping I tip some in a 2 ml clearo, huff n puff a bit. Put it away for a day or two if it's not singing at me immediately and try again in a few days. Most of them really mature well that way for me. Very small amount, plus a little heat application from the battery.

To answer the question on steeping small bottles, pulled this from the HHV website under the sampler.

All samples are pre-mixed by Heather at 12mg of nicotine and a 70/30 PG/VG ratio in a larger bottle and then dispensed into the 3ml bottles. 3ml bottles are just too small to do a custom mix in. Therefore samples are only available at this ratio and nicotine level. If you are looking for a sample of another flavor, nicotine level or ratio, all bottle sizes 6ml and up are mixed by Heather when your order is processed.

So looks like its mixed in a larger bottle before ordering anyways, so may already be steeped.

Meh ok they got me. A week or so after receiving the Gandalph and it has now grown on me considerably. I do like it now and will more than likely be ordering more.

Really glad this thread kept me trying it cause quite honestly when I first got it I was sure it was going in the trash.

Cool! Thanks for the progress reports Johny. I think there is something to that steeping. All one has to do is look at those pictures Dante provided earlier in this thread to see the juice changes. Yes, much of it depends on how fast HHV turns the juice (even in the 3mL samplers), but steeping is a reality. And I also think much of this is just acquiring a taste for a particular flavor. Either way, if it's good, it's good and who cares how we get to good. Right?

So, a little birdie just told me some things. Heather mixes all samples in 60ml bottles and then they dispense them into the 3ml bottles. They send out those samples in a matter of 1-3 days for most flavors, so they will be partially to mostly steeped when someone receives them. All non-samples are mixed the day the customer receives their shipping notification via email. That is their born on date.

So Bronze, your samples could easily be a couple of days older than you're counting, plus they're small bottles anyway. Not trying to tempt you or anything..... ;)

I was told basically the same thing by BlueMist yesterday. Those little sampler bottles steep in a matter of a couple/fews days and in most cases are fully steeped by the time the mailman sticks it in your vapebox ('er mailbox). They also said 3 - 5 days for the 10 - 30mL bottles. I've been trying so hard to stay away from those HHV samples. I vowed to wait till Saturday (tomorrow) so I'm gonna stick to that plan even though all evidence suggests it is not necessary. But before you give me credit for having off-the-chart willpower, it's only because I have a bunch of BlueMist samplers I am going to start vaping today. I'll let you know how it goes. Got to say, my expectations are not high for BlueMist. Meanwhile, I look forward to a Saturday filled with chillin', some football, and some HHV.

Review #1: BlueMist Vapes, Dekang Tobacco Type (80% PG/20% VG, 16mg), 0 - 5 star rating system.

1 star. This is barely vapeable. And if I were to vape it much longer it might move to zero stars and be completely unvapeable. It is a strong flavor. Nothing bashful here. The predominent flavor is a nutmeg-spiked eggnog with noticeable hints of bridle path or stable bedding. I personally detest eggnog and this is no different. If you like eggnog, you might like this more than I if you thought you could get past the bridle path too. I took about a dozen pulls and I think if I have one more I will vomit. Of all the BlueMist samples I got, I held the least expectations for this one. It didn't disappoint. Next!

K so update for you guys on non tobacco Tuscan cocoa. Getting stronger and I'm not sure I really care for it much. Lil too cocoa flavored I guess. Reminds me of a artificial tasting chocolate protein powder. It's ok mixed with my mocha java but having a time vaping it on its own.
Heavenly tobacco...still good. Caramel getting a bit stronger. Still just like a good ry4. Other than that nothing too special.

I have an update too. Dragon's Fire is just OK. It's vapeable, but Huntsman by far is still my favorite. I really like the cleanliness of HHV juices. They are all a good vape for sure. No clogging my atty.

They delivered my Highbrow yesterday and I didn't know it. It was supposed to be today and stupid tracking wasn't updated in time and I didn't think to check. So two days in this Alabama heat...ARGH. It's like Chinese water torture knowing it's there. Two 30 ml bottles two days in the mailbox...will it hurt it?

RJ, what PG/VG blend did you get? As for the 2-day mailbox thing, I'm guessing it will be OK. Had one guy say his juice took up residence in his box for a long time in 100 degree heat and it survived.

This time I got 40/60 at 12 mg. For over a month now I've had a rash around my mouth and nose and between my eyes. It's either the higher nicotine (I was buying 24 and 18 mg) or the higher PG (70 to 80 PG) I was vaping. I've got to figure out which one is causing this. It flared up the day I started vaping so I know it's vaping related. I was also having sinus and stuffy head symptoms but those seem to have gotten better. I may have to go even lower in the PG. I'll figure it out. I can handle a little rash over "death by cigarettes" any day. :)
