Good morning, Army!! Well, thanks so much Redhat, for that nice, sound teasing for breakfast:laugh:! Yup, the music addiction is at a pretty critical level. And everything just sounds even BETTER with this perfectly-aged Huntsman. Jeez, I never even considered my kooky activity log:oops::facepalm:! So, army, tell me what tricked out mod these soldiers are vaping -

Lets say I have an anodized metal drip tip, then lets remember that feeling when you touch your tongue to a 9v battery.... Can this be possible? To get that feeling from the drip tip?

Sounds like either a short in your battery or you have metal fillings the tip is touching.

Sorry guys ( and ladies) for jumping in here interrupting things. Tis thread is sorta my "go to" spot whenever something good (and bad ) happens to me vapingwise. I'll go back and catch up on what i missed in a moment. FYI, my debt card wasnt stolen from HHV or even remotely related to HHV so rest assured. I'm not sure rulewise if I should go into details so I'll keep it on the down low publically, feel free to pm if you want or care about the backstory.

and now back to our regularly scheduled chat already in progress :)

dusty, if you wanna call me ill pm u my phone num and tell you about it, easier than typing with shaky hands ( i never been hacked before)

I'm sorry you are going through this. I know that Rawr and Ave are having some problems with their security. Not their fault but someone compromised them. Did you by chance order anything from either of them?

April, I'm not a metallurgist but anodized aluminum should NOT be conductive. Basic aluminum IS conductive. So the question is, did they anodize your drip tips? I wouldn't take the chance. Throw it out. Besides, anodized drip tips like to peel your lips off.

No worries dude.. I just responded before you were able to post your update about the Debit card being jacked. You're lucky if this is your first time, and usually banks are pretty good with this kinda stuff. A new card number and claim form will set everything back in order for you.

I haven't signed up to any coops yet. Just looking for now. Haven't seen anything that gets me fired up yet.

You could always get another Vamo for cheap. It'll end up around $38

I just woke up to a disturbing phone call :( :(

My CC # has been stolen. Long story short, bank cancelled it, sending me out new one, claims form (so if they catch the perps, I can sue) and looks like since I only had like 10 bucks left on my acct before it happened, they didnt get very far. It's funny, the reason I didnt have much left was because i bought so much vape gear before this happened. In a way, vaping has spared me the headache of losing hundreds of bucks to fraud lol

Happened to me last week. Lots of vape purchasing makes us vulnerable. The last two purchases I made before the fraud were from HHV and Rampage Vapor. I used PayPal with Rampage. I hope HHV servers are secure*. I don't want to start any needless gossip because this is all hearsay, but if anyone else from the Army gets hacked, I would alert A&H to look into it.

EDIT: * Read Adam's response to this question.

Everybody in the co-op, raise their hand. Better yet, add yourself to the list:

Bronze
Xfoo
EddardinWinter
Dusty_D
Chakris
Buggs

Not in this one yet, I'm in like 3-4 other ones at the moment. Co-op's are very addictive and are killing my wallet.

Might have to read up on this tank though. It takes so long to get things from a co-op that once you get your first package you wanna keep getting into a new co-op every week so you have a constant flow of vape-mail hitting your door.

Now if I could just explain to my fiance why I'm spending hundreds of bucks on vapegear in the classys and such, maybe I wont be forced to sleep on the couch so often, haha. I might have to call you guys & gals as defendents/witness to help me plead my case to my honeybunny, so get your best clothes on and make sure ehen you come over you bring flowers or chocolates. preferrably both.

I know the Lion is busy today, but let me say something to you that he would have perhaps said.

RHP, she's still your fiancee, not your wife. If she does not understand and accept what you are doing now, she will not later either. You have options at this time that are less damaging than they will be in the future. Just sayin'. ;)

Back to me..

Don't listen to a word that the Lion is saying. work at building a strong relationship in which y'all understand each other and trust each other. As long as you don't go overboard and hurt your home finances with your buying, you should be able to justify it to her and she should be able to understand that choice. If not.. refer to what the Lion said! ;)

If I still lived in Philly I would have been happy to come over. :D

Let's see, smoking.......vaping...... Spreadsheet! I've actually saved over $600 so far.

Yeah I really need to stop the quick re-editing thing after I submit a post. Things happen fast on this thread, it should be called a chat room. I pm'd you the nitty gritty details because I just realized you were in canada and long distance phone call isnt necessary. Plus thanks to ECF I was in the loop on the grapevine or whatever the kids call it. So I was just suprised, not SHOCKED. Yeah, is was my first time. My heart goes out to anyone victemized by identity theft, hopefully my case was just simple fraud. New card equals problem solved. I can only imagine why true victems of identity theft must go through. My radar is up and will stay up for a long time.

I got hacked twice, my wife once. It happens. These CC companies are on it pretty quick these days. Creates an dinconvenience because it takes a week or two to get your new card. But beats the hell out of the alternative.

Just got info from Adam. He (and I) thought should be mentioned here in case anyone has questions or concerns about HHV's website credit card security. This is a direct quote.

"Just wanted to give you the low down on our site. We are totally encrypted and use a secure socket layer during all the checkout processes. You can see this by noting the https in the address bar when you are logged in during checkout. Your credit card number is then encypted and sent directly to the credit card processor. We do not see or store your credit card info. We made sure when we started this business that our customer's information remained securing during their entire shopping experience.

Hope this gives you and hopefully others (if you will spread the word) that you are safe shopping on our site...

Kind Regards,
Adam
HHV"

So be safe out there in Internetland. Keep your practices safe and be assured that HHV keeps our security in mind from start to finish. Vape on.
