Congrats on a fine purchase, Rocketpunk:toast:! Ladies and gentlemen...

WOW! Then I need to get some IMMEDIATELY!!!

Mind you, if you're vaping it fresh from the mail, the alcohol will evaporate out and when it settles it's likely to be a lot more dew like...
Can't see that happening Hula. It's not that it tastes like booze, just the flavor.

The Mocha Java Smooth tastes JUST like those chocolate wafers I loved as a tot.
Surprisingly...so does the Caramel Cappuccino.

All in all, still tastes better than anything I have tried since.

RJ I'm so glad you are here. I was feeling like Chak talking to myself!

Both my girls had palate expanders. Not the most fun but they work.

Enjoy your Turkey.

Gollum voice: "...and that's no fun at all - is it my precious?"

Smeagle voice: "Talking to our selves... No, no, no! No fun at all my dear."

Haha! Chak is a sweety isn't he?

For those wondering and have never heard of them (like me), google "rapid palate expander" and look at the pics. Luckily, some of his friends had them too so he knew what to expect. And of course he's my big man and hopefully will breeze through this.

He's taking a nap...and I may be there soon. Love me some naps!

:vapor:

Thanks RJ, that was sweet of you.

Our daughter had braces, but never had the expander - they extracted four teeth to make room instead. Ouch! And yes, they are expensive, aren't they. Here's to all that hard work saving up for them... :toast:

Now I'll be off for a nap soon.

Some hospitals around here made a policy that they will not hire people who use nicotine. Check your policies. For $40 a month, I'd quit for four days. Damn straight. That's a lot of money to me.

I should have said "new" hires...they won't fire people that already work there.

Now, why on earth would they do that? It's not like nicotine impairs your performance in any way, does it?

That's what confuses me too. I can sorta understand the reasoning behind testing for insurance purposes. I can see being not hired for illegal substances. Those are illegal and can impair work performance. Nicotine is a Legal substance, does nothing to impair reasoning or how you perform your job.

Went looking for a new-to-me "Tuesday" song. I've had new music with every breakfast for the last couple years -

Wishing a great day to all of you!

Stark difference here than in Pittsburgh. The Dogwoods are in bloom, windows are open tonight and I will have to cut the weeds this week.

Did I mention I hate yard work?

Our dogwoods are out a little later this year. It's been ridiculously cold all Spring. The elaves are out but they haven't unfolded yet. Were about a week behind compared to normal.

I did it backwards myself. Have tons and tons of purple caps but just ran out of PG and about to with VG. Plenty of nic though. Definitely need a gallon of each.

Well I bought mechs and PVs and wick and wire and RBAs...but not nic! Now THAT'S backwards. And I have no clue what I'm doing with DIY, but I'll learn. And for some reason, I'm throwing all my frustration with the world into this FDA crap so sticking my middle finger up to them feels like I'm sticking it to everyone else that's tried to take my freedoms away or tell me what to do all these years. Kind of like the last straw. Silly to some I'm sure, but symbolic to me.

It's all about money. Money drives the government, and lack of it drives them even more. It's for sure not about our health...it's about money.

I should also throw in control....money and control.

So, we are both home today. Son is having a rough time with this contraption in his mouth. He told me he hated me, but a few seconds later wanted me right by his side squeezing my hand tight. Overly dramatic...probably...but I don't blame him. I'm exhausted from not much sleep the past two nights. Neither of us have eaten in almost 24 hours. I guess I'll try Instant Breakfast for him when he wakes up. He'll get used to it. sigh

Especially when you don't have a co-parent to lean on. Makes it that much harder when the burden is all on one set of shoulders. I give RJ tons of credit and bow down to her. You've come a long way, baby! You'll get past all this and be proud that you did.
