Cheers everyone for your tips, especially the vivi nova part.
I have put one on the battery today and it works seriously well. Far better than the ego c tank system. That thing seemed to leak a bit where the head needle pops into the tank and is a pain in the a55 if you ask me.
I can see that the vivi is far better and I wish I came across this site before I forked out for the ego c starter kit!!!! I have ended up with two pretty expensive batteries and a load of left over bits.

At the moment I have the 2.4ome head in it as that was there to start with and it is working well I would say, really well compared with the ego. Should I want to try the 2.8ome head could you recommend the BEST batteries to buy in the future.
I am also thinking it may be a pretty easy job to make a cheaper battery pack for it??????? A battery, switch and the right thread and connection fitting???????????

Thanks again, Steve

Cool Steve and glad it's working out for you. The eGo C fires at 3.3 volts so 1.8 ohms, if you enjoy a warm vape, is best for it. Understand though batt life will be slightly lessened. 2.0 ohms would be best but I haven't seen any around. 2.8 is meant more so for higher voltage PVs. I'm using the 2.4 ohms on my Twist at 4.2-4.5 volts. If you do order make sure they're the LONG wick.
Cheers.

You'd prolly want to buy a serious variable voltage Mod. "Most" find their "sweet spot" is around 4- 4.5 volts and a mini variable volt (3.3-4.8 volts) would prolly be best IMO. You would only need to buy the batts as you already have the charger and wall adapter.

Edit: I actually owned a Provari but "I" had no use for the higher voltage. I also own a Kgo VV (3.3-6 volts) and have never run it above 4.5. The only reason I'm presently using VV is because I'm only vaping 2 mg nicotine (started @ 36) and I need all the help I can get with TH and lung hit.
