hehe....I suppose if I had have really READ the description I would have know it was going to be a he-man device..but nooooooooo...I was so enamored by the cool square shape...and I already have and love the SIAM tanks......so instead of doing the smart thing and reading and watching reviews...I just obsessed over it until I found on to buy....LOL. squirrels do that.

Thanks Windy!!! I knew eventually someone would come crawling out of the atheist closet...hehe. I also donate and sponsor a couple of children at this great school in Uganda. Home - KASESE HUMANIST PRIMARY SCHOOL
Imagine....helping impoverished people to improve their lives without preaching! what a concept.

I was going to start a new thread to say Happy Memorial Day to everyone...but I'm feeling particularly sarcastic and snarky today so I figured I would voluntarily confine myself to my own tree. So here goes!

Happy Memorial Day!!!!!

hmmm. there are quite a few food deserts here in the states too,

...and on an unrelated, perhaps almost on topic note. I was doing yard work and some painting yesterday. And it was really, really nice to have the hands-free automatic option for keeping my nicotine at therapeutic levels while i had on gloves and paint covered hands :)

Thanks for the plug, CES....too bad I can't seem to get that across to the majority of the forum world. It's pretty bad when you can't even give stuff away. I put up a thread at the "other" forum I'm participating at to give away free disposables and only got three takers....well....plus spacekitty....LOL

oh...your welcome tib! It took me a minute to figure out what you were talking about...RFLMAO! I thought your friend could use those.

Hey allazar...you can update your signature now...there is no more lanyard shop....LOL The last lanyard anyone paid for was the one I sold to you last year.

CES....Katyas bird is looking at you, kid.

UGH! OK... that just proves that most people on ECF just do not appreciate quality work or do not have good taste!

Done LK!

There are basically three methods that I use, depending on the cartomizer I have to fill or refill.

1) Syringe and needle, I use 18g sharp needle. Especially effective with Boge cartos, as those tend to be very tightly woven and are generally a PITA to fill properly the first time. The needle puts your juice exactly where it needs to go and the syringe lets you measure the amount of juice accurately. The drawbacks? It's work and not everyone owns a syringe.

Other options: an oiler bottle

or dripper caps:

Dripper Caps

2) Condom method, as shown in Phil's video. Works well with Boge cartos, but I find it messy--lots of wiping afterwards.

3) Dripping!!!! The best and easiest for your cartos (and other non-Boge cartos wit loose filler). Just tilt and slowly turn your cartomizer as you drip down the walls into the filler, just like pouring beer. :) Don't worry too much about the center tube; a little juice in there will prime the coil--just blow out the excess.

I've always just used the third method myself... but then that may be because I'm both cheap and lazy!:lol:

Then there is the money issue. When I first started doing this I would send people my own personal stuff or I would send them stuff for free and I would pay (retail) for it with my own credit card. I quickly learned what a total waste that was. Because people place value on things based on what THEY paid for it. Plus....once they get a taste of the freebie trough it never ends. I know that might sound unkind but I'm telling you it's the truth. I KNOW there is not an ecig company more kind and generous than SmokeStik. The stuff I do here on ECF is just the barest tip of the iceburg compared to what you don't see. And as much as I hate to admit it, in most cases I'm sorry I ever tryed to be nice. And I have one burning question for all the contunual PIF takers...my own and others......IF YOU CANT AFFORD ECIGS HOW WERE YOU PAYING FOR YOUR CIGARETTES????

I know exactly how they did LK... they bummed cigs from the rest of us!:evil::facepalm:

I know that sounds cold, but we all knew those people that never had any cigarettes but always wanted to go smoke with you!

lol! somebody ;) made kitty's day! :D

tweety, even pif has changed and i rarely stop by there anymore. but i will continue to help people i meet in the rw. i'm just perplexed that none of my converts has stuck with it. fingers crossed that ces is right that some will come back in the fold ;)

I know quite a few that stuck with it after switching... at least partially because it is so much cheaper if you do not get sucked into buying the latest shiny piece of hardware!

It also helps that I teach, and that many students are always short on money I think! ;)

I don't. And for real....do NOT bring him to my forum. He almost cost me my job. Enough said.

I read through that entire thread Katya and can't disagree with anything but have something to add. How do you think it feels to be a supplier and not allowed to talk about this stuff anywhere but your own forum? Why do you think I stopped having contests....all the groveling about how wonderful SmokeStik just to get something....anything for free so they can turn around and sell it. Funny how my lanyards stopped being desireable once they stopped being free isn't it? And at least they go away and leave you alone Katya.....mine have the balls to call SmokeStik and want freebies. Not anymore though....since like I said...I stopped giving stuff away and that is that. The way I figure it there are enough people right here in the BadGirl thread that I really like and I know their need is genuine. I really miss some of the ones who drifted away. But I would still help them if they asked. But if someone I don't know PM'd asking for anything I would have to politely decline.

oh spacekitty...glad your happy dear. :) I thought you would enjoy that shawl since everyone knows us old ladies are either too hot or too cold..LOL. And you gotta admit...I may have returned the RBA but at least I returned it with supplies!!! I'm sorry...I just don't have time or the energy. BUT.....I did buy a couple new tanks that I think you guys will be interested in..don't have them yet but will review them for you when I get them. I got one of those Kanger Pyrex ones and also a Raven Tank from Gotvapes that uses a filler less carto. woohoo...!

I think that what really happens, is that vaping (like most new things) started with a small core of people, and fortunately ones that were relatively honest and wanted to help one another. However, there are only so many of those in the world, and as it grows you start to see many more that are not. It is a natural progression, and one that is unavoidable I am afraid.

I still think that the average vaper and the average vendor is far, far more willing to help others than someone who is not, and that SmokeStik and the people here are even moreso than most of the other vapers! I know that without input from many of you here, I likely would have returned to smoking myself!!!

I also suspect that my converting my mom to primarily vaping (she still smokes some but not nearly as much) was due in large part to her finding a device that is approximately the size of a cigarette but actually works!!!

Happy Mothers Day ladies!!!!!!!!!! Congratulate yourselves for giving your kids to gift of NOT SMOKING!!!!!

Here's what my little tattooed angel sent me for Mothers Day

mothersday2013.jpg

And thank you for all the nice comments....it does help. The good news is I finally after all these years found out ... is wrong with me. The bad news is.....you know the rest. Type 2 Diabetes. And just for the record...the diabetes made me fat...NOT the other way around. I do still have some pride...LOL Not looking for sympathy just wanted you to know why I havn't been around much. Just don't have much energy lately. I'm hoping that once we figure out how to manage this things will improve. I'm trying not to think about having to spend the rest of my life without alcohol. Now THAT you can show some pity for...LOL

oh btw...I found a new forum. It's a really nice friendly place WITHOUT a bunch of iron fisted rules. Like ECF used to be. I'm getting sick of not being able to post where I want to when all I want to do is talk about my new mods. There are no restrictions on suppliers posting over there other than common sense. Don't promote your product outside your own subforum...DUH!!!! I can't believe the censor actually edited out my "w" "t" "f" in the above post. That's really taking it too far IMHO. Anyway I won't post the link publicy because that does seem a little rude and the people at ECF HAVE worked their butts off for us. It's not their fault that people are idiots and have forced them to have all these crappy rules. PM me if your interested.

That's a lovely Mothers Day gift LK!

I'm sorry to hear about the alcohol, as that would really bite! My mother and my father have developed diabetes as well, with my mom requiring insulin and my dad able to control it with diet, but then he has to take blood pressure medication. Hopefully, knowing the cause they can get it under control to get you closer to normal. If it is any consolation, both of my parents lost weight once it was under control... they just had to give up quite a bit to do so.
