ha! I was eating Mongolian BBQ on Reseda Blvd back in the 70's....amongst other less conventional activities...LOL Like going to the midnight showing of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. This was back in the day when the theatre owners would make a "deal" with the local cops....you let us search them for bottles just so noone gets hurt, then when the movie starts you shut the doors and keep THEM inside...and we will stay outside and look the other way. It was a whole different world back then....surprising most of us actually survived it!
For me the midnight showing was in Balboa, the little theatre just in from the pier next to the Orange Julius. Never did get to see it, I'm just on that cusp of too young. The restaurant I was talking about is just about a mile from the fairgrounds in Costa Mesa. Been there for 30+ years.

Thats too bad you missed the show. It is one of those things that really has to be experienced live. Audience participation and all....LOL
That's what I've heard. I think there are theatres that still show it like once a month, just have to do some research. And pick up a squirt gun...

I'm taking the dogs out to lunch. Although lord knows they don't deserve it. I took them for a run at the college this morning and since it was Saturday I let them run on the football field. Where they promptly found a deposit of human feces and rolled in it. I love dogs.
Anyway I'M hungry....so we are going to go to this great little icon (at least it's an icon in THIS town..LOL) of a burger stand /drive through where I can get a great veggie burger and they can get plain hamburgers. We will share some onion rings. They always give the dogs a free scoop of ice cream....which is bad for dogs so I eat it.

Funny, we adopted a third cat around mid-March whom we knew hadn't been fixed (previous owner was young and stupid). On mother's day she delivered 5 kittens. 1 passed away, one just found a home two weeks ago, still have 3 little ones ruling the roost. One still available...

I don't know if I wish I had a b/m store to go to or not.....it's bad enough with the Internet. But then again...maybe if you can see the stuff first you wouldn't end up buying so much stuff you can't use or don't like? I'm sure I'll never know living here ....LOL
You know, it's funny, there are at least 5 or 6 good ones within a 10 mile radius of my house yet in doing more and more shopping on line. I like the face to face comradery, but yeah, the pricing is a toughie...
