hey ladies, and others.....I have this song running through my head. No doubt because I have been dealing with..shall we say, um...a challenging customer that insists on receiving a scientifically correct technical explanation of the whys and wherefores of lithium ion battery life. So here ya go!

A sweet romance is not for me
I need electricity
If you wanna make me flip
Hit me with a micro chip

I'll be a diode, cathode, electrode
Overload, generator, oscillator
Make a circuit with me

Just plug in and go-go-go
I'll be your human dynamo
Signals in my power cord
Impulse on my circuit board

I'm an AC/DC man
You can read my circuit diagram
I feed on electric jolts
I need fifty-thousand volts

A sweet romance is not for me
I really need electricity
If you wanna make me flip
Come on and hit me with a micro chip

I'm an AC/DC man
You can read my circuit diagram
I feed on electric jolts

and speaking of rock-a-billy............

ha! you would have to try pretty hard to get banned from this forum...RFLMAO!!!! You can even talk about other ecigs here.....unlike most other unfriendly threads. Speaking of which.........

KATYA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! where are you????????? Will you please explain "pressure filling" to me? The a-holes out in the general forum will not even talk to me because I have SmokeStik in my signature. I need to understand what that actually means in practical terms as I am having a problem with my DCT tanks...which I dearly love. But some of them cause the cartos to instantly leak out through the bottom of the carto...and I'm thinking it has something to do with there not being any air displacement because the caps are way too tight. Does this sound right? I have tried using the carto filler tool I have but since I use fairly small tanks so if I use that funnel thing I can bairly get any juice in the tank. Suggestions??? Oh btw.....I should have listened to you ages ago...an eGo with an Evod...awesome!

Rumor has it SmokeStik MIGHT be thinking of coming out with an eGo or super XL type of battery. What does everyone think of that? Let's just pretend for a minute your actually a paying customer...LOL......but seriously,....pretend you are exclusively a SmokeStik customer for all the usual reasons. Ease of use, no push button etc. What would you prefer if you are a heavy enough user to be frustrated by the battery life of a Pitbull? A eGo size battery with a push button? Or something akin to the Mega XL Kr8's....Loooong but auto? And if you chose the long auto, do you think that would intice you to buy SmokeStik instead of an ego type if you were a new user?

LK,

It might make sense for SS to offer an extended life auto battery. I'm thinking 600-900 mAh would be needed to entice people who hang out on the forums and I don't know if you can get enough mAh into a slim long battery. I know that some people had been looking for auto ego-style batteries, and it's only been recently that they've been available. So, my vote would be for auto ego-style.

Katya hasn't been around recently. Last i heard she was going to be busy in the RW for a bit. So, i can give you what i know, and hen she gets back she can add/correct my info. The DCT tank ends have to be sealed completely. The only opening should be through the carto. It's the pressure inside the tank that pushes the liquid into the carto- preferabley at the right rate. If the ends of the tank aren't sealed then the cartos won't fill.

When I'm filling my tanks, I slide the carto down, fill the tank, and slide the carto back into place. Only recently have I used the filler tips- makes it much less messy. But even if you don't use the tips, slide the carto down rather than taking the top off. When you put the top back on it does push a bunch of liquid out of the bottom of the carto.

I was having the same problem and finally decided I didn't like those 'flanged' cartos that come with the tanks... I have had much better luck with my regular cartos and a hole punch!! And if the hole is too big, or the juice too thin, I just poke/stuff a little bit of filler (remember that stuff?? lol) in there to plug it up some.
And this way you could even use the SmokeStik cartos, too... :D

I have one like this:
SmokTECH DCT Cartomizer Punch

Purr-sonally, I always wondered why they haven't come out with a PCC?? Wasn't Steve working on one...
I think that would fit more in with the type of customer that you have...

how did I not see your posts Tibs? hmmm.....

I always add extra holes even to my flanged cartos....even with 100% PG i need 4. I dunno how people manage with just the one pre-punched hole. I just picked up some with the larger laser punched holes, and will see if i still have to add extra punches.
