hi everyone....just stopping by to give a quick hello. A very dear friend of mine who is 75 years old stumbled going up some steps and has three fractured vertebrae. I spent the weekend mostly cooking meals for them to freeze and stopping by to bring her things she needs. It's a terribly terribly sad situation. Her husband has to leave her alone twice a week so he can drive 80 miles each way to take care of his 100 year old mother. So I'm doing the best I can to help them but I'm pretty much of a basket case at this point too so unfortunately I can't do anything physical except cook. But at least it's something. And I can keep her company. This btw is the people whose house I was housesitting a few years ago and a squirrel jumped out of a tree I was trimming on to my shoulder.
