Hey Sonny do you remember when?.

Your very first ecig was a Cig Look alike and it was a race to get the battery recharged before you were done vaping the other.
Everyone was trying Fluval as a wick
Atomizer and cartridge came separately and you stuck a straw down the side for better wicking
Spending $50.00 for an E-Cigar that would only last 2 weeks.
Buying a Prodigy and the owner telling you that you were the only one having problems.
Short circuiting a battery with change in your pocket. Ouch
Buying a ecig without a button and having the wind from your Car Window setting it off.
Buying a Provari because it was the first reliable VV Unit.
Buying a Volcano like unit, opening your Vivi Nova and instead of unscrewing the cap, you took it apart flooding your unit. [Fluid leaked through the holes] then when you fired it up. The whole APV started to smoke!

Let's take a walk down memory lane, share your experiences.

Thankfully, I don't :)

I first checked out vaping a few years ago, and decided not to try it until a year ago.

I see a future full of past memories waiting to be made magic.jpg

Nic`d Up in Oklahoma!
I remember when my wife had at least 20 of those things in a drawer. Having to buy the charger, and new cartridges. Then watching her as she tried to re-fill them. Of course she went back to the ciggies.

Fast forward about 7 years and I could`nt stomach the cost of cigars anymore, nor the cost of her hand rolled`s. So I told her we were going to make this work for us, cause it works if you work it.

We`ll have 9 months in a few days. :?)

She now use`s a Sig 30 with a KFL at 1.3 ohms, and she would probably kill ya if you tried to take it away from her, LOL.
I`m usually hitting a Mech or a Sig 150 at .2-.6 ohms.

I remember thinking those fools who have to push a button were thick in the head - my automatic batteries were the shiznit. Until I realized my "XL" cartomizers were all empty. - Remember boiling cartos?

I remember the first vape I had on a mini vivi nova on a vision spinner - Wow what a vape!

I remember the "tilt-n-twirl" becoming such a regular part of vaping that I stopped thinking about it - until smokers I knew asked "why do you keep spinning that thing around like that?"

I remember being unbelievably impressed with my "all day carry kit". It was 2 900 mAh spinners, a mini nova tank, a vision eternity, all packed into the Ego PCC with the tall skinny bottle that came with it.

I remember ordering my Vamo V2 as a "sample unit" from a Chinese vendor on Alibaba because I could get it for $54 shipped.

I remember swearing I would never join "those suicidal sub-ohm freaks"...

I haven't been around that long. I started with an Janty eGo starter set. Then the eGo Twist was "A Game Changer", so we all ran for them. Kanger T2's and T's were It ! Then I bought a Reos Mini, and could actually bottom-feed e-liquid up into my 510 atomizer ! Woo-Hoo !
Mrs. T's Bakery had good shipping. Heather's Heavenly Vapes was a fairly new vendor. Police stared at you if you were vaping. And ProVarinati had to be looney tunes, I mean, C'mon.... $200 for Vaping Mod ?!? And why buy a VV Woodvil when you could buy eight 1000mA Twist batteries for that much money ?
Then came RDA's. And RBA's. And Box Mods. Then Clones...somehow it seemed a lot simpler back then, even if we were just chasing dinosaurs.

*lol* wow..other than trying a blu a couple times I never had those issues..I'm glad we got on the scene when we did ten month ago..it's all good stuff:toast:

I'm with you, Ginny! I didn't "vape" until August of 2013, having tried cigalikes off an on for a few years before that, but I have to say looking back at the history of vaping, this really is an exciting time to be a vaper!

I still have a metal box about the size of a pack of smokes that holds a batt or 2 and 2 atomizers. You charge it from usb and it charges the batt when you close the lid. I carried an altoids tin with a couple of batts, prefilled atomizers with blue foam tips, some foam, needle for poking, 1ml bottle of juice.

I got a passthrough that plugged in the cig lighter and was in heaven while driving.

Gave up in 2010 and went back to smoking.

Began vaping in 2008 with ciga likes. Using lipton tea bags and blue foam as fillers. Coffee stir straws for better flow. Modding the heck out of those things to make them perform better. We went through heck back then to get a good vape which today wouldnt stand up to anything.
It was a pain in the you know what to vape back then. Good thing though, stuck with it and havent had a stinky since 2009.
We all have it made these days. Makes ya wonder how the tech will be in another 5-6 years.
VAPE ON EVERYONE !!!!!
