Pretty much what i was thinking from its size and configuration so thanks for that Rob!!

I haven't given up on the Sherman just yet @TheotherSteveS... I have a mate building me some fancy coils to try...

I really dislike the Cane v2 because it was faulty when it arrived and I'm convinced they rushed the finished product to market... I did get a replacement part with no problems and it now works... but I'm not a fan and I don't like the tons of o-rings and all the moving parts... and for me it leaks... paying that kind of money I expect the tank to be as close to perfect as can be... Cane V2 (for me anyway) fail.

I'm all for instant gratification and if I have to fight with a device it gets put aside and not used... the Skyline has to be the best engineered tank of all time and it works first time every time with outstanding flavour... I prefer the restricted lung deck (haven't tried the MTL Deck) and it really works for me. And with over 200 tank refills it has never leaked one bit. A first for me in 3+ years of vaping tanks.

The Hussar is also an outstanding tank and I love all the accessories you can get for it and it too really works for me.

The 'Cane V2 looks like its been a bit of a disaster for e-phoenix. They had generated a lot of good feeling with the v1.x but then they barfed up the Junior and then continued by using the junior as the basis for the V2. They then compounded that error by some pretty poor engineering ( i read it's actually outsourced to chinese manufacturers) and poor QC on top. It could be the death of them I fear...

anyway agreed about the skyline. It really is so well made it is ridiculous. And the hussar is a jewel!! Not sure i agree about all the extra bits available being a good thing, at least from a financial perspective haha!! I could have bought 3 atties for what I have spent on that thing...bloody fine vape though!!

I also haven't done very well with the cute little Pico and I need to spend a little time with it... But I doubt it will ever get a lot of airtime because of the limited juice capacity.
ahhh now sir. Don't ignore it the Pico. I did and was going to sell it but thought i should give it another last go and now i love the little thing. Scared sh!tl3ss i will cross-thread all those plastic parts at some point but what a great vape qwhen you get it going. You can get a big tank for it now also!!!

Yip... I fear e-phoenix have cooked thier goose. :-(

ESG as a company and the Skyline in particular sticks out a country mile. I placed an order for the Ultem tanks and drip tips yesterday at 3pm and by 4:30pm DHL had picked up my parcel and it landed in South Africa this afternoon... unheard of speed! Great company and wonderful product.

Yip I know exactly what you mean about accessories not being a great idea... just ask my credit card! ;-)

I haven't given up on the Pico (especially seeing I got my hands on a Titanium version) but it does make me a bit nervous because I'm not the most technical type... but I will persevere with it.

I love the idea it's so big for juice capacity (especially with the fat tank on it's way) but... it's too much tank for me and needs huge 4mm coils and high wattage... not really my style of vape and the vape I get at 26 watts from my single coils in my Skyline and Hussar are just so perfect for me.
Have you had any other issues with it? My cousin never got to try his bc he broke both screws off in the post. On the first build... They must of been really soft, I got one out but not the other.

Also he dropped the plastic tank like, maybe a few inches when he was putting it back together and now the threaded part has a crack in it, on further inspection it's extremely thin.

So far the guy, Tom or w/e has not responded.

Hi @kiba, No I haven't had any other issues with it... the plastic tank it comes with is stupid because it can't handle citrus and menthols because it cracks but I got an Ultem Tank right away and the plastic tank just sits in the box.

I will be getting the extended FAT tank for it tomorrow and will have another go with the Sherman.

They're definitely well-built. My buddy had two of them, I believe just one now though. Just like everything else Darren does its quality, personally I just not a fan of the board. SX is probably the worst board for TC, which is all I do.

Apparently, more of the same on yihi's brand new board as well.

I think there is a sister board version of the dna75 that might fit nicely in the phantom

The dna 60 would be a good board for the Phantom no doubt. If you're a tc guy, the dna 75 isn't great because of the voltage cap

If you want to use like 6 volts at 75 watts sure, but for example a coil at 400F isn't usually going to see more than 16 watts. It'd be rare to have that issue when using TC normally. but theres only so much a single 18650 cell is capable of, some chips use pwm to reach that setting but I hate that, like, I remember when I first tried a yihi chip in TC, I could actually feel the PWM, feels like a rattlesnake.

I was running into problems on the dna 75 board with ss temp control. I had a .6ish build at 30 watts and 450 degrees and it would error all over the place

Did you have case analyzer run and internal resistance set? My gf runs pretty much the same thing all day long with 430 Stainless steel, I keep mine under 400 but at those settings there shouldn't be any problems.

The resistance was checked and double checked. And the mod resistance was set in the factory correctly. If you review this chart you will see that with a .6 build on temp control, the dna75 can only reach a max wattage of 27 to 28 watts. I didn't know this until after I experimented with it.
