regarding the Hussar:
received mine a few days ago, only tried single coil deck so far with kanthal-koh gen do build. 70vg/30pg
What ive noticed so far at least with kanthal build, is that you have to turn juice flow control off from time to time.
you will get minor leaking/flooding with juice flow open all the time
This rta wicks better than any other that i have.

will try a dicodes NiFe30 build in it soon, along with trying dual coil deck as well.
you need to make sure the top cap is properly sealed. I get no floodiung/leaking unless i havent tightened that up - usually when filling!

ok..i take that back.
Hussar leaking through air flow holes even turning off juice flow periodically.
this tank is starting to irritate me.
also when i unscrew it off my dicodes mod, the 510 pin pops out?

what am i doing wrong? the deck is definitely screwed down tight enough. i wicked it just like todd did in his review by just letting wick tails touch the top of wick holes. do i need to fill the wick holes with cotton more?
any help from ppl with the hussar would be appreciated

will look into the top cap..
i thought it was sealed good i push it down hard after re-filling
do that but I meant the top section that screws onto the chimney and seals to the top of the ultem! Some people have had diffcuklty turning JF with this screwed down so they loosen it during filling and forget to screw it back to make a good seal before popping on the top cap.

Now, why the 510 pin should unscrew beats me just now but let me have a look at mine and think about it. Someone smarter might chime in meantime!! Hang in there bud. One of the biggest drawbacks of this atty for me is all of the opportunities for screwing and unscrewing things in inappropriate and annoying ways...you are not alone..

I would say that you haven't got a good seal happening on the inner top cap where seals to the tank sleeve or the chimney seals to the inner top cap. I believe it is an O-ring issue. Jump on their FB page and contact their service lady (Paulina ) and they will send you the necessary o-rings to fix your issue.

OK; so, a few days with the Hussar. The good stuff first; love the wicking, the look, and the juice flow control. I have to say, though, I like my kayfun v4s and 5s better. What gives the kayfuns the edge for me is the sound and flow of the airflow. Any tank that takes air through airflow slots and then through slots in the 510 pin (you all know what I mean) is going to be loud / turbulent.

Great tank and I'll see how I evolve on this with time, but yea, airflow is (to me) what differentiates tanks these days.

thanks for tips,
i did remove the inner part of top cap that screws onto the ultem, and tightened it down good.
i feel like that was the problem, because since tightening it down the juice flow is now a tiny bit stiffer.

no leaking since tightening it down though, so fingers crossed. thank you by the way!
the 510 coming out every once in a while, not every time i tighten it back up my finger nail. i think that might have something to do with the dicodes 2395 T its screwed down on. maybe contact on dicodes too positive and is unscrewing it when i unscrew hussar.
the kanthal build is 7/8 wraps on 2.4 mm dia.
slightly spaced, w/ koh gen do

Glad you have it sorted - or most of it anyway. Yeah the inner top cap and the top cap area the main areas that take a couple of goes to work out. Here is my method for foolproof filling;

1. Turn juice flow anti-clockwise to close off. You may need to back off the inner top cap a small amount to be able to turn the JFC (tank sleeve) Make sure you keep the outer top cap on while you do this or juice will flow out. See reverse of step 5.

2. Remove outer top cap

3. Make sure you have a seal on the bottom o-ring of the inner top cap with the top of the tank sleeve. It doesn't need to be very tight, just make it snug.

4. Fill as normal through the side fill hole on the inner top cap.

5. Place outer top cap on. and turn your JFC clockwise to on. If this is too tight to turn you can back off the inner top cap - by simply turning the outer top cap. Don't remove the outer top cap to do this or you will lose your juice when the JFC is engaged. The outer top cap has a tight enough fit to turn the inner.

I normally give a little clockwise tighten once my JFC is engaged. Just remember you will need to do the reverse when closing.

Has anyone tried the Tiberian vapors Pallas rta
its a rebuildable tank with option to use their own prebuilt coil heads. Designed in US and made in China I think...I think Mark had some issues with the build quality but maybe he will chime in.. @Mark Todd

If I remebr they also have a genny and a dripper coming soon.

Yeah, unfortunately they suffered really badly from QC issues, I do believe they have been resolved now but the great I got to review was pretty poor.

Does anyone here have any experience with any Animodz products? Pitbull/Doggystyle?? They're both very intriguing but the few reviews that are out there are in a foreign language. Any insight anyone??

I love the Doggystyle - if you go back through the pages of this thread you will see plenty of pictures of mine. I don't have the Pitbull
