True, the notification system is terrible & they can only be mad at themselves that people are buying the clones instead rn. Apparently it's a perfect copy, which is unusual w/ clones, normally the first couple batches has at least minor flaws... however I like my authentic & I'm glad I was able to get one for cheap due to this clone situation. I did pick up a pack of the inserts from Coppervape on Fb though, ESG wants 7 bucks a pop for them which I find rediculous bc I have no idea which one I want, what am I supposed to do, keep buying them till I find the one I want, or buy them all and have a bunch left over that I'll never use? but even if these don't fit mine I'm only out 5 bucks for the whole set.

If anything I can try them out to figure out which one I need (bc Idk) and buy the corresponding one from ESG.

My plan also as I'm not sure what the material is on the clone.
It's real peek, I asked them on Fb bc I was concerned also... but I'd still rather have the authentic disk, with it that close to the coil... but it would be a real waste of $70 + shipping, instead of $5 to try them all out, then $7 for the one I actually want.

I'll probably only end up using just the one, it's not like they're super easy to swap... Imo kind of a dingus move doing it the way they are... they're just little pieces of peek, if it was me I'd let people pick like 4 or 5 to get with the atty when you buy it, but w/e. I've thought about this a lot lol bc I didn't like either of the two that I got with my one.

The 2 ones that came with my used one look pretty good, there's the 3 big hole one and the big long slot one... i might of even picked those to try myself but it turns out I really don't like them. They seem like they should be pretty good but the skyline with those in kind of sucks in vapor density compared to the hussar, it's either they're too wide and I get air directed over places where there's no coil or where the coil doesn't get hot fast enough, even when I stretch it out all the way. I'll probably end up going with one of the narrower slot ones.

Even if I could actually put a coil in that was big enough for those disks its like when you glow a wickless coil, you can see the heat generated from the center out, and the amount of time it takes for the very ends to get hot is way too long (at least for my short puffs) for it to be of any benefit for me to have 2/3rd's of my air directed over the ends like that, it just ends up as wasted air.

I have a better idea of which ones I want to try now but this way I can know for sure which one(s) I want before I order them from ESG.

Well, it doesn't even exist; it can't even be "terrible". I'm afraid I can't think of anything other than a typical, old-school hype marketing.

Anyway... GP Spheroid V4 is available now (@vapourart) and afaik, Doggystyle 2k16 will be available next week.
It's there, it just doesn't ever work properly, you can also put it on your wish list to not receive an email as well.

The new Merkava arrived. Its a v5!
First impressions:
1. Still some machine oil, at least the taste is there even after i cleaned it but no biggie.
2. the machining is very good indeed. The chimney thread is a bit crunchy but the threading is quite fine and im sure it will wear in.
3. looks cute in it's natural xvostick environment!
4. The deck is really cool but forgot to take a pic...will do it next time!
5. the af reducers are really good. The 1.4mm is a tight draw even for me so might try the 1.7 mm next time. Have a 27g NiFe48 in there and its a wee bit warm but nice nonetheless!
6. Gap between the top cap and the tank is a bit OCD-inducing but I'll live with it.
7. The bayonet top fill is genius!

So far (ie about 20 minutes) i really like it. I liked the v1 but they have solved all of the issues with that and this is now a very, very good RTA!!!! Well done Chels and the crew!!!!

Are the reducers like the KF5 MTL kit or more like the Hussar where you actually replace the air tube?

KF5. They just slot into the air hole in the same way. I imagine the KF5 reducers would work actually (and vice versa). I'll try it when I recoil one or the other!!

Yes, please let me know if they fit as I have a few KF5 reducers. I do like the way the Hussar is engineered to allow the actual replacement of the airflow tube, which I feel gives an even closer to true MTL vape than simply a reducer, but probably splitting hairs a bit.

Thanks for calling this one out, putting it on the consideration list!

I think the effect is pretty much the same to be honest but I know what you mean! The real advantage of the hussar system is that you can change without removing the coil!!!

The amzing thing about this is that it is around half the price of a bog standard hussar for example. I love the hussar and it is a fantastic atty but it's not twice as good as this (or the dvarw for that matter which is around the same price point).
