Interesting, my drip tips are black delrin. Was that a special order?

The original Hobo that I purchased had bad machining on the negative posts and the screws were locked up. I couldn't get one out at all, and the other locked up when I tried putting a coil in it. I contacted Hoberto and he sent me a new deck and some extras, including the drip tip. I wasn't expecting it, but it just so happens that I really like the color.

He did all colors, well except the stainless and copper. Theres the white delrin, the black derlin, and then theres that yellow one thats called phantom. Its like ritual machines phantom top cap they put out, i think its made of ultem which is better than delrin so im told. Im so jealous of all these drip tops!! That phantom is my favorite, i have just the regular ring but would love that one! Looks sweet.

Where can you buy the other caps?
The phantom 1 specifically came from Hoberto, i bought it off him and I've yet to see that 1 anywhere online. However the other ones can be bought at certain places, i believe Subsonicvapes has them and Terravapes. And the drip tops like you have go on sale Dec. 5th i believe. I forget what day he said it was exactly.

Thanks for the info. I'm finding I like both the normal and chuff style drip tips with it so I want to pick them up for the pair of hobos I have from before the chuff came out. The normal is nice for most of my daily vaping but that chuff style is fantastic when you want to crank some power through it. I find that the normal drip tip gives me more warmth at the lower wattage which I like. The flavor from this atty is great when I take it over 35 Watts which is just too hot with the normal drip tip but is nice with the chuff.

Does anybody know the o-ring size that goes on the outer body of the juice retaining well? Or possibly where to get replacements?
I've looked around, but I'm coming up short... right now I've got my o-ring vendor that I use for work trying to source replacements for me because I can't seem to find them anywhere else...

I don't know the size, but this place has just about every size/type:
The O-Ring Store LLC, We make getting o-rings easy!

The only problem is the $5 shipping, but you don't have to buy large qtys.

I know i bought a bunch from home depot, it was a little variety pack that came with a bunch of sizes which is good. And im pretty sure i used one of the sizes in there for my 1 hobo but im not positive on that. I may have just taken it off of another atty.

They're 16 X 1 mm more or less. You can get Vitons here which are an upgrade over the stock o-rings. The stock ones stretch too much which can make removing the cap difficult. The Vitons stay put better, I've redone all of mine with them.

Awesome! Thanks, man... Yeah, we use Viton, Aflas, and EPDM here at work... knowing the size, I should be able to get ahold of decent o-rings pretty easily.

    Thank you, Everybody!!

I'm having some trouble with it - is the insulator real high on the authentics? Mine sits high and close to the coils, and it's giving me a slight burnt rubber taste. One of my nicest coil builds yet on it: dual 26g 3/32 Microcoils About 0.4-0.5ohm.

I got the coils really close to the posts, and also "crossed" the positive legs and got them perfectly centered. The coil glowed perfectly.

I knew it! I called that insulator thing a long time ago in this thread, sorry. Anyway, no the insulator in the authentic isnt as high as the clone, plus Hoberto shaved them to give you more room, i dont think the clone did that. Take it all apart and dremel that bad boy a little bit, thats what i did to 1 of mine.
