Anyone have one of these yet? I was considering a clt v2, for the price, but I stumbled across this on the vapordna email.

It looks pretty slick, just watching the origin vape video... viking/magma concept, but cheap, and different. . .

Let me hear some feedback... or I guess in a week or so, I'll give you my own.lol.

I wouldn't call it original *edit- though I've never seen that 510 pin style before*...but yeah.. I'm all good for combinations of ideas.. that isn't patent infringement..and it is improvement. I'm glad they stepped up to it..cuz they know the target is 10-$50 max for something like a dripper...I love the vape jam.. but I'm not spending $100 on a 3 post rda with Cyclops airflow..it does look nice on a lot of stuff though.

I love my sigelei taj ji.. very nice, but easy to strip 510 contact threads..:/very small.

This RDA looks like it'll take a lot to screw up..I love the break down of it..looks like it won't ever leak from 510.. and that's the most important thing for me..

Just got mine from origin vape today. Gotta say super fast shipping. Granted im in the same state as them, but I ordered thursday evening and got it saturday morning.

Anyways this thing rocks. Great vapor production wide open and good flavor too. Much better then my tobh clone. Heck of a lot easier to install a coil too. Construction is incredible. The threads for the top cap are extremely smooth and its the tightest fit i've ever had on a drip tip. One of my wide bore aftermarket tips doesnt fit although. Im fine with the one it came with though. Holds a ton of juice too. I havent even loaded it near capacity and am getting at least 20-25 pulls before dripping again.

Thats the main seller for me, really makes driving a lot easier and not having to scramble to put a few drops in when I stop at a light. I could see with it being full to capacity of juice, that it would get into the air holes and leak if you laid it on its side. Not like I lay my device down anyways.

If I had to complain about one thing, and thats If I had to. It is pretty noisy when wide open, but with 4 3mm air holes I think thats expected.

Its a winner in my book.

Looks killer too.

Jeez...yeah..I'm caught between this and the two-wind...the clt also interests me..cuz when the side airflow of the plume veil works... it's amazing...but if that's amazing, duh...bottom fed and center/typical airflow? Are you serious?

So Holmes versus two-wind... decisions:/...I already had to take the majority of my flavors out of this (2nd) cart[emoji25] ... they should make that tear green...so it's a snot bubble.

Damn I can't believe I missed this. I was looking for an upgrade to the magma and this looks perfect! And cheap too

Anyone knows where to order this one for delivery in Europe? Preferably without huge shipping costs, import taxes and accepts paypal.

I got my Holmes from Origin last week and IMO it is significantly better than the Magma in pretty much every way. More airflow, better AFC adjustment that clicks nicely between the settings, a HUGE juice well, and the raised airholes means it doesn't leak. I guess the one thing the Magma does have is that domed chamber, but I haven't really noticed any difference in the flavour between the two attys.

My Holmes RDA arrived as well, right on my birthday! So far it looks great but the airflow is quite a bit looser than the minimum on the Magma. On full open this thing is probably a good cloud chaser. On lowest setting it's about the same as the second airhole on the Magma.

The provided drip tip has quite a wide bore but is a bit "thin" and "sharp" at the end. Not cutting sharp but not pleasant. Probably can just sand it a bit though.

I've got to rebuild it though because my first nickel 32awg dual coil build for a DNA40 doesn't work quite right. Not the fault of the Holmes though!

The Holmes is "nice" IMO, for flavor it's not as good as the Magma, but it doesn't leak easily as the Magma and there's much more space for wicking.
All in all, not a bad RDA, I still think it's better for flavor chasing than clouds, and it's a nice addition to the Magma for the fans of it, but I still don't think it's a replacement for Magma.

Ah and also mine came "DOA", the deck didn't had a good touch with the positive pin and I had to trim the white delrin between them, now it works good though.

I also got mine from Origin Vape, amazing company, great customer service and shipping times (I usually don't review companies but this one is in my top 3 so I had to mention it).

Hmm I have to check that. Didn't even know you can separate the copper pin form the build deck, maybe that is my problem with the nickel subohm build with the DNA40?

Can't compare flavor yet but I hope it's on par with magma.

Anyone got tips on how to build it with vertical coils? I've always let the wick "rest" as a kind of nest on the deck for vertical coils.

And yeah originvape shipped really quick from NY to Europe. It was the best vapemail ever, arriving on my birthday and even wrapped! :p

PS: Thanks for the tip VapinSweetZ, I took the atty apart and there was quite a bit of water and/or liquid between the copper and the positive post. It looked as if it should make good connection, I screwed everything down a bit harder (simply pressing on the 510 pin of the atty might work too) and now my nickel build shows 0.13 ohm instead of 0.20 ohm, which should be the correct resistance (not this is low ohm DNA40 coils so that's normal).

Well if you tilt it will leak if you overdrip. I think the capacity actually isn't higher than the Magma because the well is a bit "shallow". But I haven't measured it yet. I wish the air hole tubes would be a bit higher.

But it leaks less than the Magma in normal use because less juice will leak / condense in the air tubes. If you dremel away just a bit of the stainless steel around the airflow holes of the magma you probably have the same effect. Or someone used a 2mm syringe to "extend" the airholes of the magma to achieve the same effect.

I haven't got my Holmes to leak yet, but I imagine it would probably leak if you overdrip it or if you tilt it when it's filled to capacity or if you flip it completely upside down. It's pretty easy to avoid these circumstances. The juice well holds about 30 drops. The 510 is not adjustable. The plastic insulation piece sits underneath the juice well, so it is completely shielded from the coils and shouldn't be subjected to any heat.
