Terrific! I'm so glad for you. I have had a few Boge sr's that had the wicking problem. However, most of them seem to be fine.

well I think I found the issue. After reading in this thread and others that some people were having wicking issues some newer boge cartomizers I thought that that could be the issue. But wait I had also tried a brand new dual coil. Well after .....ing about this to my GF she told me that the dc I used wasn't new at all. Since she thought i was destroying cartos by punching and cutting them she had handed me a very well used dc so that I wouldn't "tear up" anymore good cartos. well after hearing this I went and got an actual brand new dual coil and I'm happy to report that that its working wonderfully. I actually got a bit of flooding with two holes. So I cut a bit of carto condom in such a way that it would cover one hole while leaving the other open and now its perfect. Still don't know what is up with the boges but oh well.

you are confusing me with someone else.

LOL... sorry  ... I did say "WOW, tough to follow a couple of interesting situations here."

With that aside, I finally ‘drained’ the DIY Iffy Peach flav tri-slot carto/tank to MT on the Buzz Pro. Great vaping ALL the way down. There’s not a full drop left in da tank. Great vape throughout! Now just wonderin’ how long the CCV 510 LR DC carto will provide this truly satisfying vape…

Haven’t MT'd the single slot with the coconut flav yet. But it’s matching the tri-slot performance thus far; most time on an eGo batt. Absolutely no leaks with either combo!

My Iffy’s Peach loves 3.9-4.1 VDC. The coconut does well up to 4.7.

Bought another eight 20ml and six 3ml syringes to experiment with. Got a couple of brain storms (well, would ya believe a light drizzle?) to work on. Which leads to this question, anyone have a measurement for the 1ml plunger disk? TSC didn’t have any…

Really am enjoying the ol' amateur backwoods engineering and hope to add a couple of 'enhancements' in the near future for those interested.

Glad you didn't give up and found what the problem was. Thats funny but frustrating for you. LOL Where did you punch the 2 holes in your carto and then what one did you covered it?

Yes, I did. Did you make your tank yet?
Yes but I have not used it yet, I will fill it tomorrow with a new DC S.S. carto. Just a note, I finally got one made yesterday out of a 10ml syringe and it worked very good but after awhile, I too like another poster had a rubber taste in the vapor and it tasted bad. I use a tobacco flavor and maybe with a cinnamon flavor you might not notice it, but with my fav tobacco juice it tastes bad. Well I made the 20ml syringe with one you sent me and hopefully it won't have the rubber taste. I did clean the first one too with a liquid hand soap before I used it and now I am soaking it in dish soap water and will try it again, but first I will use my new 20ml tank I built today.

They were both right above the bottom seal on opposite sides of the carto.I just cut the condom short and put a hole in one side so that it block one hole while leaving one open. it didnt really matter which one i covered as they were in essentially the same spot just opposite sides.

Thanks, I was wondering about a very few people that have put a second hole toward the top of the carto and I may try that to see what difference it makes, if any.

I've only seen that in reference to CE2 tanks that have essentialy a tube inside a tube that apparantly creates feeding issues if you dont makes holes at the top of the inner tube so that the air can escape to the outer tube. just a disclaimer I've never made a ce2 tank so that could be completely wrong. If you want more info asnider ,who posted early in this thread, has made many of them and has a number of threads in the modding section about them.

I don't vape any tobacco juices. Most of my e liquid is fruit or dessert flavors. I didn't even wash or rinse my syringes. I took them right out of the package, cut them, rinsed them, put them together, and filled them up. So far, I haven't gotten the tiniest bit of rubbery taste.
