I don't vape any tobacco juices. Most of my e liquid is fruit or dessert flavors. I didn't even wash or rinse my syringes. I took them right out of the package, cut them, rinsed them, put them together, and filled them up. So far, I haven't gotten the tiniest bit of rubbery taste.

.

none here either..:)

It was mentioned in another thread, but thought I'd mention it here in case anybody missed it there. I bought 7" Wire Stripper with Cutter last night as the person who started the other thread said it worked for them. You put the carto centered in between the two largest holes for stripping the wire and the little tooth that sticks out is pointed on these type of strippers. All you have to do then is squeeze and poof, 2 holes with no muss or fuss. I tried them on one of my cartos, it worked great. Put 2 nice holes on either side of the carto. I use boge cartos, which I really haven't had any issues with. It'll run "dry" on the inside every so often, but if I kinda lazily spin my carto in circles to slosh the juice around, it tends to fill the carto back up just fine with no more problems. I'm using an ego-booster too which makes the coil burn hotter. On my first mod I made I didn't get the holes in the boge carto big enough. It wicked fine sitting on the battery alone, but would start burning every time used the booster. I took the carto out of it's juice bath, made the holes bigger, and now it wicks just fine. If you're having wicking problems with the boge, try making your holes slightly bigger until it quits tasting burnt :)

Here's the other thread I mentioned above http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-e-smoking-discussion/226475-thank-me-later.html

Aw, shucks. (looks down and shuffles feet).

We'll wait until it's 5 o'clock in your neck of the woods. That'd be 8 p.m., my time. I may have a few casual sips before you get here, if that's okay with you. I'll make sure Hubby's got some cold beer. :) It may turn out to be an interesting evening here in the maine woods. :w00t:

Anyone else that would like to join us to celebrate my "ultra membership", meet here at 8 p.m. EST. I've got a 5L box of white zinfandel, and the glasses are chilled. I suppose since I started this thread, I can hijack it for just a wee bit.

You bet, you are a JEWEL. --- CONGRATULATIONS--- Tell me when, and I will lift a glass to you. I hope to join you in the club soon. I guess some girls are faster than some boys. LOL

Dave~ That looks so easy to do, I love it and want to try it. Where did you get the 2-20ml syringes from with the thicker rubber at????

Thanks,

I was so excited when found this video last night!! If you love tank mods, you gotta watch this. BTW, has anyone ever tried it? Looks reeeaaalllyy good! And, from what I understand syringe mods are okay with any kind of juice, so no cracking. I picked up a 20 ml syringe today at my local tractor Supply Store for $1.29, all they had was one. :( It is the type that he shows, so look for Ideal 20 ml syringes, and I have found them cheaper online. They are sold for vet uses. I know the filling is a bit harder, but I'm gonna give it a try. Is it too good to be true?

I've only seen that in reference to CE2 tanks that have essentialy a tube inside a tube that apparantly creates feeding issues if you dont makes holes at the top of the inner tube so that the air can escape to the outer tube. just a disclaimer I've never made a ce2 tank so that could be completely wrong. If you want more info asnider ,who posted early in this thread, has made many of them and has a number of threads in the modding section about them.
Absolutely correct. I use a CE2XL element inside a cut-off 3ml syringe for the inner tube (the 3ml BD syringe is a quarter at Walmart pharmacy and is exactly the same ID as the flimsy CE2 tube), drill toward the bottom for feeding back into the inner tube, and a couple of holes toward the top to prevent a vacuum in the outer reservoir. I have seen some tanks that don't use an inner tube at all, but they, I am afraid, would be flimsy and would leak to easily. The syringe barrel is stout and doesn't slide at all!! Fill the device with a syringe thru the original CE2 fill holes. In 2 days it will be a month since I put G3 into service, has yet to leak even one drop!!

Just checked my drill set, the hole size I use is only 1/16 of an inch.

This works fine because of the CE2's bottom reservoir and, with a metal drip tip atop the device, it isn't hot to the lips like CE2's usually are.

I was going to post a reply for you, but I see you found them. You're a funny guy!

I do that all of the time when I'm looking for something in the fridge. Hubby will look in and find it immediately, right in front of my nose the whole time.

What did you buy, I don't see the 20ml size?
UPDATE --Dummy me it was at the top of the site. Thanks for the information.
