I just put one hole from the saddle valve turned all the way as far as it goes and it works great. 2 holes and it starts flooding after awhile and I have flooding problem from then on. I also do the same with the Resurrectors and they work fantastic as long as I don't put 2 holes at the base. I did 2 holes and had to plug one and then it worked great. I am getting about 8 to 12 days in these great syringe tanks using the Resurrectors before the fluid in the tank get very dark, so I know then to put in a new one.

I also feel that one opening would be best - that is valve-like - wjeras with two there is the chance for a flow - air in and loquid out simultaneiusly.

Increased a carto slot to 1mm x 4mm out of interest; will see how that goes ... There;s definitely a poiny where the opening id so big that the mechanism of ropping up the carto is lost and its just a carti sitting in kiquid. Wjeras ideally it should pull from the tank inly as it begins to dry out.

Alriiiighty! Sounds like ya got your procedure down pat. Congrats! thumbsup.gif

That's why I said "your procedure". I know mine is a bit different, but consistent for my use.

That's why I said what I said.

Quoting your post was unnecessary and sounds like a refinement of that ?

You and Wyojoe have been a bit wierd for a while. So I think I;ll depart to the other thread only.

I just meant that many use 2 or more openings in their cartos; there's no wrong way if it works.

But makes sense to start with one.

just ordered this tank and (6) stainless DC cartos from MadVapes - this guy carries a sheetload of cartos - all types - following that, ordered (15) Boge 2ohm stainless reg cartos from CrystalClearVaping for $20 - FREE SHIPPING!! - hopefully no cost shipping will become a trend
I agree, Iffy - but some people would rather buy than build. Your $9 goes down to $7 if you count the carto :)

My time's not completely without value, though (not to say that yours is). TSC is about nine miles from my house but I do get over on that side of town about once a week - I've got three tanks here and enough syringes to make two more so I'm good for awhile. The delrin caps are kinda nice but I'd be worried about tanks cracking with high-acid juices and I've really become accustomed to having a fill port. Guess I could drill one if I really wanted to.

I haven't been able to find a stainless dual coil carto at any of my usual hangouts, though. The resurrectors are very nice but I think a 1.5Ω dual coil might produce a little more vapor just because there's more coil in contact with the packing.

I dunno. I'm not interested enough to run out and buy one, but I can see where someone might - especially since they're less than half the price of just about everyone else's premade tanks.

Cartos are all pretty consistant in diam - it's all about the surface tension - the o-rings with the map and J-tanks have great ST once they settle in - the compound used for the syringe plungers do also - the liquinator is a diff o-ring compound and does tend to slide easily - like it though for re-filling and have had no prob with leaking - my homemades are 12ml syringe plungers, punched and glued to punched faucet washer end caps inserted in locally sourced acrylic tubes - still under a buck minus labor - I'll post some pics if I ever figure out how to do that.
Do you guys have a problem with the tank sliding off of the cartomizer? Mine fit so tightly that there's no way they'd slide off. Maybe my cartos are a bigger diameter?

Does anyone sell these in the standard size cartomizer? I want to find this for my Boge carts.

Vaporescence sells a 3ml Liquinator (and replacement tanks for it) that fits a standard carto but I have no idea whether the tank will fit madvapes caps - at least I *think* that's a standard carto in the picture. It's also $25 :(

With all the complaints Ive heard about them, I would never buy from them.

Hey Ricks - I have two (bought prior to building my own) that work with reg or standard size cartos (Boge & others) - J-Tank and Liquinator - both 3ml capacity, 4ml including the juice in the carto - I've had no probs with the liquinator (leaking) or the J-Tank - the liquinator is a little "slidey" but it just makes it a little easier to fill - OR if you make your own, you can cut the tubes to work with any length carto.
