I prefer the 10ml syringes. My tanks I make with those still hold 3ml.
I won't be making mine for a few days, I wish I could. I did get the 10 and 20ml syringe. The one thing I noticed is with the 10ml syringe the rubber hole in the back of the plunger is to small to put you old carto in it to punch the hole. So I quess you will need to be careful to get it centered, so the hole is not off center, or cockeyed. The 20ml plunger will let the old carto slid right in so the punched hole will be centered, just like the original poster (DAVID) said to do. I wonder what would work best on the 10ml plunger, punch it it with the cone facing up,or put the cone side facing down when you punch it??

It's easy ;) It goes right through.

Put the rubber piece on something hard. Put an old carto in it and one wack with a hammer will make a perfect hole. Very easy.

You guys are correct. It went through very easily. It didn't work on a wooden surface, but when I put it on the concrete steps and hammered it, it went right through. Now to just figure out a fill hole and I will be done!

I like you tenacity, if wood doesn't work go for the concrete. LOL

You are correct. The 10ml stoppers are thicker and takes a little more effort with the hammer.

Wierd, I dunno what the problem is. I got my syringes in the mail today. The ones I have are GPS, Global Pharmeceutical Solutions. I got them on ebay. I am uber busy for a day or two, then I'm gonna try these. I'll report back on what taste I get. I never liked the taste of rubber drip tips, though. I wonder why no one else has said anything about rubber taste.

What voltage are you using on what carto? Again grabbing at straws...I'm no expert here.

The syringe is made by Ideal Industries. The juice is Bounty Hunter by Nitelite Vapor.

I have been using these tanks for months. They are being sold at Home | Go-goUSA.com for $14.99. Dummy me, if I knew what they were made out of I could have been making them all this time. In about 4 months of using these, I have never had juice leak. Amazing, they aren't the prettiest but they sure are the easiest and cheapest. Now, I want to buy some syringes to make my own. There are so many brands. Is ideal industries the ones I should be using? What about BD?
Thanks for any help.

I found the whacking to be quite therapeutic. I think I'll stick with that method.

K*Rose- I don't think you linked to exactly the right page, but you are talking about the Chopper Cyclone tank right? I just got one the other day, and I like it a lot. Like you I want to learn how to make them so I can save some $$.
