I got some ressurector cartos from CCV yesterday. I just made a longer tank for it. Wow, these things rock at 3.7V. I punched 2 small holes because I didn't want to take a chance of it not wicking well with all that juice in the tank. I dripped about 6 drops into the top filler, and it's vaping beautifully, perfect wicking, no leaking.

So far, the biggest advantage I see is more juice in the tank. I think can get the same kind of hits with a Boge sr by cranking up the voltage. I am waiting to see about the longevity of the carto, although my Boge sr's seem to last and last. I am imagining that since these are low resistance, they will wear my batts down faster?

Another big plus is that if my VV devices are on the "fritz", this thing is great on my ego or riva. Then again, my Boge lr's will do that, too.

I actually had an old dead 510 stainless battery. I gutted it for the stainless tube. I'm going to try to fit it for an extra long tank (about double a standard length carto). I haven't found a reliable way to de-sleeve metal cartos. However, the clear smoktech ones come apart much like a clearomizer, and there is a little o-ring on the casing. I'm hoping it'll be snug enough to work.

I'd still like to find a way to remove a Boge from its original sleeve, but thus far I haven't been able to do that without tearing it up.

Bill, I just want to personally thank you for all of your help here with these syringe mods and a bunch of other stuff, too, even though it may cost you some cash in sales of your tanks. You want what's best for the whole community, and it shows. We appreciate you around here, and you are a valued asset to all of us! I am sure you will still sell plenty of these tanks, maybe a few less because of us, LOL.

BTW, one more thing, how do you get the writing off the syringe? I've tried nail polish remover with acetone and rubbing alcohol. Nada...

Thank you for the kind words.

Making money is not my #1 priority.

To remove the lettering I use a product from Ace hardware paint department. It xylol xylene. Use it outside.
a quick swipe and the lettering is gone.
I scrub them real good with soapy water.

Folks if you use this or any other flammable product, for any thing, (even linsead oil), PLEASE, soak your rag in water and leave it outside to dry when you are finished.
