Well, if it takes 3ml, put 3ml of fluid in a 5-10ml syringe, insert into tank, first pull syringe plunger up to 4ml (causing a vacuum in bottle) then push only 1ml of fluid back in, bringing the tank back to atmospheric pressure. Pull/push/pull/push/pull/push several times, vacuum first then fluid. Make sure you keep the tank upright and the syringe pointing down during the process.
Yes, you definitely don't want to put pressure in the tank, you want to replace air with liquid, without effecting pressure in tank.
Well, that's my unedumacated 2 cents LOL
Someone had a vid where the assembly was held upside down with the air pocket centered over the carto hole. Then the juice was added and the air was expelled through the carto.
Sorry, can't find it now...![]()
I got these on ebay. eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices. They work great, I've made a bunch of tank mods from them. When I got them, the seller was accepting offers, so I got them for $15, but $17.95 is still pretty good with free shipping. And you know they'll work.
I think this is the right one: Syringe 20cc Without Needle (Ideal) 50/Box Luer Slip at PetsTruly.com
It says this: • Tri-Seal O-Ring reduces leakage and provides accuracy
I think tri seal is the type of plunger we are looking for.
Ricks- which ones did you order? Do you have a link?
That is a good deal. I think you posted that earlier, but I was too lazy to go back and check.
ETA: Oh, but I can't figure out how to buy them. The auction is over and I don't see any more of those listed by the seller.
It doesn't matter if they have 2 or 3 ridges. The thing we're looking for is the thicker style plunger. Mine have 2 ridges, and they work flawlessly.

Okay, gotcha. I figured 2 ridges would work, but the ones with 3 were likely to be the thicker ones, if that makes sense.
