This thread was pretty much a venting post for me. I was having a real bad day the other day and I was just sick of the refill routine. I did fall off the wagon, but i'm back to vaping, now that I got a different flavor. I know that vaping is cheaper in the LONG run.. But to be honest I splurged a bit at first, and being new it's impossible for me to get the right flavor on my FIRST order.

I might have snapped earlier in this thread, and I apologize, but I just didn't need those kind of smart responses at that time.

At least, I didn't mean to ..... but.... I just hope you stick with it and give it a fair shake.

Every once in a while we all need to vent somewhere!

And........ for multiple flavors and good prices... MsTsbakery has some really cool stuff. I found Snickerdoodle Cookies to float my boat. I got 3 6ml bottles of different flavors for 18 bucks- ish in a little zippered case. Kinda a refill or drip type thing. And she sent it packed in real popcorn - no I didn't eat it - and a couple of assorted candy surprises. I think she is psychic - I have twin girls. Everyone else always talks of a candy surprise. I got two .... twice.

Give her a shot... she has been very dilligent and took less than a week to get to me from dropping the order to filling the carts..... TWICE

enjoy........

It wasn't you R.E..

And TJQ - you have nothing to apologize for. You asked a civilized question in a very polite way, we allllllll screwed up to not welcome you here but certain people also need to remember what it was like for them to be bombarded with w/ enough accurate information, while having the noobie stress that goes with BOTH quitting and getting to meet many new people. A lot of it is a physical adjustment everyone here went through or is going through.

We owe you an apology, a welcome aboard and a congrats for taking that first step. Vaping, when you're new, takes TLC, support and encouragement. Most people here are sensitive enough and smart enough to keep these boards exactly that for newcomers and/or when someone is having a problem with things. As R.E. shared to get back to the overall giving experience you'll find here, you won't find a more friendly, 2nd family group of people anywhere! Silly is very different from spiteful.

I'm so glad you didn't give up. You're entitled to same love as any and everyone else whether your day is going smooth or you're struggling with something. That's what I've found an enormous outpouring of from both members and staff and I want to thank those who have helped me thus far, again, say "Welcome!" and encourage you to reach out whenever you need to without worrying how you come across. You can do it. Be yourself and those who don't remember their manners, won't remember they might have been on your vaping wedding list either! :p

May you look back on this and lyao and enjoy, like the rest of us, vaping in places in some areas you'd get fined for smoking unapologetically, amongst the many other perks that go with being smoke free. Stick with it and you'll be fine and above all, comfortable around here.

Take care and keep asking questions!!!!

TJ...You know how I feel...
Loved seeing some of the more recent posts to this thread. Just confirms what I've found in the past 5 weeks...there are some really awesome people that frequent this forum. 99% of the members whose posts I've read are so understanding, friendly, helpful and mindful of what it felt like to start this whole journey. That's one of the reasons that not only has my new found vapeing thing become my favorite addiction ever, this forum ranks a close second!

did this guy really take a jab at my education? wtf is wrong with this world?

Bottom line..yes it is a turn off to a new person because of the start up costs!

Not really just have to shop around, I know a great supplier who sells a disposable 510 kit that comes with a battery, usb charger, atomizer and carts and can be recharged about 20 times for $10. Perfect for anyone who want's to try them before investing more.

Regardless I have already recouped the start up costs in 3 weeks. $60 a cartoon x 3 is $180, I spent $65 on my complete kit and maybe $60 for juice and carts for myself. Girlfriend has saved twice as much as she was smoking 2 cartoons a week.

In fact we just used the money we saved to buy a sweet new all in one printer.

Exactly. Alot have reached out to me via PM and it's just great.. Tons of support here and I really appreciate it. I'm back to vaping, got my menthol carts and smilin juice... Let's put it this way, I have spent too much to just turn back now.. i'm not going to stop vaping, I do like it.. it was just one of those days where I felt like lighting up was just way easier. I had my fall and i'm back now.

Good for you. No matter what, it's your health that matters here and no one should make you feel so bad that you mess with your health.

It just is, in the long run.

Fact is, theres a big picture that surpasses finances.

If you vape, and not smoke, theres layers of savings right there. After a while I just stopped thinking of the financial. Cigarettes are 9 bucks a pack here, and a pack and a half day habit, it's too much work doing the math anymore.

When you are new, it's a real issue, and I have to remind myself that it was to me back in the day as well. But when, at one time, I budgeted for cigarettes, I don't budget for vaping stuff.

mmcall, I LOVE the dancing Banana too!:banana::banana::banana::banana: :hubba:

Once you get your "Supply" {investment} up and going you will see that you are coming out ahead. It took me 2 mths to break even, now with refilling I'm saving more and more everyday! Plus, I'm not hacking up my Lungs in the morning, added bonus!! :toast: To Say the Least!! :D

You made a banner so you have saved $, it will add up over time!

Why smoke when You Can VAPE!!

Any one but me notice that soon as you make an order there a sale notice in your email its a conspiracy i say hehehehehe but yes i tend to make two orders a month to keep wifey off my back. I havent been able to quit yet still need that anolg a few times a day but it still cut me down from 1 to 1 1/2 packs a day to one every 3-4 days so im pretty happy.

bigjr...no worries about the analogs.

When I used to read about how people quit right away, I was quite jealous.

It took me some time before I was able to shake the analog demons, however once you find the right strength/flavor/battery, it just happens.

Once you settle into vaping though, if I can give one piece of advice, toss the cigs. I found that as long as I had the cigs in my house, i smoked them on occasion. Once I stopped buying them, the vaping took the place of the tough parts (mornings, after a meal, etc).

Just take er one day at a time....its not every day smoke free that's the true victory, its every cigarette you DON'T have that's the real cause for celebration.

:)
