How long it take you to get blu?

I cancelled my order weeks ago and I'm glad I did. Just got this the other day.....

Dear blu Customer,

Regrettably, due to Canadian regulations, we can no longer accept orders for blu with Canadian shipping addresses. Recent orders have been seized by Canadian customs preventing us from shipping any future orders to Canada.

If you have a pending order with a shipping address in Canada, the order will be cancelled and your credit card account will not be charged. The "Authorization Hold" that was placed on your account when you submitted your order will automatically expire, typically within 7-14 days of the hold being placed. Please contact your credit card bank if you have any questions regarding the "Authorization Hold" as blu Customer Service cannot access that information.

While we can no longer accept orders with Canadian shipping addresses, your account will remain active and accessible. Should you wish to place a new order, blu continues to ship to US addresses.
We share in your frustration with the limitations imposed by regulations that are preventing us from meeting the ongoing product needs of our customers. We encourage you to contact your local government representatives to express your viewpoint. We hope that with the support of our customers we can change the current environment and once again be able to ship to Canada.

Sincerely,
blucigs.com

my apologies if this has already been posted

Oki doki, first off hello this is my first posting. Second I found this forum 3 weeks after I ordered my blu. Yes their customer service is absolutely horrible and agree completely. I have emailed the president so far twice and will include them at the bottom. I ordered June 30th and saw a "shipped" status on July 28th, it still says shipped and the USPS assures me they never received my package. I'm finding this to be completely irritating and frustrating but also feel kind of sad for the president that is bombarded by emails, hence why I wasn't a total b*^ch to him. Here are the emails....

Subject: I know you're swamped

Hi Mr. Healy! I know you're swamped with angry people and I'm sorry to be adding to it. I ordered your product on June 30th and have not received it. I know it is back ordered and have heard of many of the problems you have had, but that is not what I am upset about. What I am upset about is the fact that people that have ordered AFTER me have received their electronic cigarettes. Yes, I will admit, I have been VERY impatient and have contemplated canceling my order after reading some forums, but I have decided to stick with blu. I have been waiting close to a month and was wondering (since customer service is of little help) when I might be expecting my order?

My order number is #124637434x and it is still pending. Once again I am not upset about the fact that it is back ordered or anything like that, what I am upset about is the fact that people that ordered close to a week after me have gotten their e-cig. I am soooooo sorry to be adding to your stress and increase in blood pressure, but I would GREATLY appreciate some sort of estimate.

Thank you for taking the time to read this,

His response

Hi! I’m sorry to hear of your frustration. I can tell you that ALL orders will be cleared and shipped this week before the store reopens on the 1st. Date wise I would expect your order to leave early this week.

Thank you

Subject: shipping problems

Hi Jason, I know I've already emailed you, but I'm a little angry right now. I've been waiting since June 30th for your product. Last Monday, (July 28th) my status said shipped. I waited two days to input the tracking number on the USPS website, which still to this day, says they haven't even gotten my package. Every day for about the last week I try to resist in buying a pack of cigarettes in hopes that my blu will be waiting for me on my front doorstep, to no avail.

I've been reading different stories on the forums. Someone's was shipped on July 28th and received it in Oklahoma on the 30th, mine was shipped the same day. I know about a month ago a few people posted that their item said "shipped" and then about a week later their status said "Item not shipped due to inventory". I was definitely looking forward to using your product and feel I have been VERY patient, but this is ridiculous. The only thing anyone there can tell me is the same thing your website does, what's the point of customer service if I can read the same information by logging onto my account? I know you're a new company and trying to sort things out best that you can, but I have to say I've gone from excited to disappointed.

Hi, I had a look at your order to get an idea of what the situation was and basically the guys in the warehouse in an attempt to stop me from yelling at them and making them work around the clock jumped the gun on a few orders and printed out their shipping labels (which then activates an automated email to customers) thinking there would be enough stock in house to fulfill them. As you are painfully aware there wasn’t the stock to send your order. While I completely understand your frustration, as I am having my fair share also, I have asked the guys to make sure with shipments this week that yours, and the few others this happened to, go out this week as soon as stock comes in. Looking at the shipment schedule I fully expect your order to ship on Wednesday at which point your tracking number should be live on the USPS network come Wednesday night/Thursday morning.

If that doesn’t suit I can have them make some slight flavor changes to your order today and send out tomorrow morning. Looking at stock right now we are out of the vanilla flavor which you have in your order. If you would like to change that vanilla to another flavor to have you order out tomorrow please let me know and I will have the warehouse package it up.

Thanks, and sorry again!

So I told him to change my vanilla to menthol and he wrote back

Not a problem I have had the guys pull your order and will have them pack now. Mail was just picked up so it won’t go out until tomorrow’s mail.

Thanks again for your patience

So considering that it was supposedly shipped early today (like he said it would) wouldn't it be in the USPS track and confirm as picked up??? Well it isn't!
_________________________________________________________________________

I am completely disappointed and outraged by this company! Also I found it very interesting how incompetent they are! Further proof of this is as follows

Badprincezz: Hi I ordered on June 30th a starter pack and the site tells me that it was shipped on July 28th with priority mail (which takes 2-3 business days) today is day 4 and the USPS assures me that they haven't received my package in ANY state in the United States, I'm wondering WHY it hasn't been sent out yet
London: may I have the order number please
Badprincezz: 124637434x
Badprincezz: and my shipping/tracking number is 9101 1480 0860 0158 2149 xx
London: that order has been shipped it takes 2-5 business days. the postal service doesnt update the site sometimes until the package is delivered
Badprincezz: I don't understand why according to the USPS it takes 2-3 business days, but according to you it takes 2-5 business days - there's obviously some sort of reason why there's opposing times
Badprincezz: Also in speaking with the USPS customer service (an actual person) he checked everything possible and said that the USPS has NOT received my package
Badprincezz: to actually quote him "The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper on July 28, 2009 to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date"
London: i would recommend that if you do not receive your order by monday(5 day mark) you should contact us
Badprincezz: I was told yesterday that if I didn't receive it today to contact you
Badprincezz: so in other words it's wait some more and then let us know
London: the full 5 business days have to pass before we can do anything further. Also, sometimes our shipping can take up to 10 business days from the time it says shipped.
Badprincezz: ok thanks, I guess

... I just checked back to this thread and i can believe this! The same drama is still on... Anyone who sees a 29 page thread dedicated to simply waiting on a product should be EXTREMELY gun-shy about purchasing that product. I totally forgot about BLU since i canceled my order and got an Intellicig EVO and 510 from IV over a month ago. Forgive me for saying this, but I have to.

The BLU IS NOT GOING TO BE THAT MUCH BETTER OR WORSE than many of the products still out there, including the Intellicig, and certainly NOT WORTH WAITING A MONTH FOR.

I know unwanted advice is criticism, but i am glad i took some of that criticism and listened to some more experienced folks here... So, let me target this post. From noob to noobs ~ Do yourself a favor! Just go order something else tomorrow and start enjoying it this weekend. Stop smoking analogs waiting in anticipation when you could already be vaping something comparable or even better. If you still want the BLU in a couple months, it will still be there (if the company still is)... Then, we can let this ridiculously repetitious thread die.

I read over all these posts and still wonder why everyone is so bent on waiting for this average product. For what? Honestly. What makes BLU worth the wait vs. something else? Are we as a society that susceptible to mass advertising? I know BLU marketing may have been the thing that got your attention, but that is no reason to be loyal. Look at it this way. BLU got your attention, their terrible delivery times got you here, and now you get to learn all this stuff that you wouldn't have known if you didn't have to wait, and, instead of using time and knowledge to your advantage, you end up waiting anyway?

REALLY???

i would love to know what you guys are thinking. Personally, i am pleased enough with other products that I wont even be buying the BLU, especially since they are still forcing you guys to wait like this. I am really glad now that I put my money somewhere else. Just my 2 cents. Would love to hear yours too...

It's just simply amazing that some people will first do no research and order the Blu simply because it "looks cool". I can actually understand that to some degree because almost everyone has done an impulse buy when they were young. But then to come on here, read that not only is the company stringing you along but that the Blu is one of the worst performing PV's made and yet still continue to just hope and wait, hope and wait when you can get a far better PV for the same price or a little more and have it in your hands in three days!!!! I mean what the heck does that say???? I just hope that those who are in this category never, ever take the time to vote!

Ordered on 6/25/09 and as of today (8/7/09) still have not received my order.

Just got off the phone with Blu and was told that despite the fact that my order was changed to "Shipped" on 7/27, they actually didn't ship it. They didn't have enough product to fill their orders. Never bothered to inform me, or anything. Apparently 315 orders on 7/27 were never shipped out, and no one was ever notified.

Told them to cancel it, and they said they couldn't. The product is "in the hands of the shipping department now", and they can't give me my money back. I asked when it was really shipped and was told "I don't know. But it has, so we can't cancel it."

Waiting for a supervisor to call me back now (yeah, right...)

This is by far the worst I've ever been treated by any company.

Sorry about that Mike. I was still questioning whether or not I should have cancelled my order place a few days before yours now I am glad I did. Hopefully you will find something that works for you.

Yeah, I picked up a White Cloud from the local mall. It's far too expensive for my tastes, but I get to quit smoking now (30 hours smoke free!!) I've gotten a few co-workers and friends into the idea of vaping, so I may sell my batteries and kits and stuff and move on to another company down the line (was thinking about trying out the Liberation Atom or Mini.)

I'm just really blown away by the whole thing with Blu. Never got the supervisor call, but whatever. As long as I get my money back I'm fine.

Ok, so here it goes. Blu has come around some of the clubs here in Charlotte, and I just happened to be one of the lucky people that got to take a complete box home to try (I have already passed it on to a friend to try since he is trying to quit smoking). I will share with you my unbiased observations after a little background...

First, I did research and wanted the Intellicig EVO. At the last minute I switched to wanting BLU since they are in Charlotte and I thought i would get one next day. RIIIIGHT... Cancelled my order and bought a 510 and EVO from Innovapor. Got it 2 days later. Have been vaping the EVO and 510 for a month using ECOPURE low in all flavors for just over a month.

So in comes the BLU. Great packaging! sure looks like you are buying the BMW of egics. So i get right into the box. The PCC is nice, so i start charging it. The cartridges are weird. They have a foil layer over the top with cellophane underneath, so it is tricky to get the mesh on the atomizer into the juice. when it does, wham! Throat hit! It could be because it is medium nic, and i have only ever vaped on low. Not much vapor production though, but it really feels like a cig. The atomizer probably needs to burn off the primer. This ecig is really light weight and feels normal in your hand. I might end up keeping this thing, so lets push it for a couple days and see whats up.

End result... Dissappointment. Here is why.
First of all, this thing is SENSITIVE! I mean like REALLY sensitive. I couldnt drive home with the A/C on because everytime my hand passed by a vent in my car, the thing would turn on. The first battery died before I got home.

So i attacked it properly the next day. charged everything up, did some atomizer dripping, took apart the cart and did a refill with some ECOPURE Rich. The cartridge is really small. I already know i am going to be refilling all the time. So i use it all day. End up refilling like 5 or 6 times, and go through 4 batteries. For reference, i use 1.5 batteries and only 2 refills on the EVO. The throat hit and vapor production with ecopure is the same as my 510. Here is another problem. At one point, I had to run into a place and run back out and the BLU almost burned my jeans (and my leg). No 5 second shutoff which would be a HUGE advantage for such a sensitive device.

At the end of day 1, i went home to charge the PCC and a battery at the same time. The main wall charger is already broken. I have to use one that i have for my other pvs. As i am thinking about it, the PCC is a pain. I carry a small memory card case with my usb charger, spare batt and juice for my EVO, and i can be gone all day. Who needs a PCC when you have long battery and cartridge life, right? Oh, and the flavors don't hit like the Ecopure...

So I use it for another day before i realize I don't want it and come to this conclusion. The BLU is only good if you leave it at home. May make a nice cig in the morning with coffee or something, but it is too much of a hassle to take out of the house. So here would be my day if I wanted to keep the BLU along with my EVO and 510.

BLU - Morning smoke. Oh, and you have to unscrew the batteries at night or it will be dead in the morning. Lame. Quick puff on the 510 from last night while i change to the fresh batt.
EVO - Hit the road baby and travel light! This thing will take it all day.
510 - Time to go spin some records... The vibration in the dj booth already puts a jingle in your pocket ;) and the EVO can handle it pretty well, but the 510 really shines here.

Then i thought about it. since the battery on the 510 lasts all night (even if i dont unscrew it), i might as well use it in the morning since the hit is the same as BLU. HMM... I don't think I even need the BLU. One less device makes it easier to remember which device is charged and freshly filled with Ecopure. I think i know someone who could use this to save some cash to buy an EVO. Lemme make a call...

...mods, please move this to the proper thread if it seems out of place here...
