After using analogs for the past 40 years I was able to give them up the second day. I left my analogs laying around in the shop along with my ash tray just in case I wanted one but didn't, I did unintentionally light one up without thinking a few days later and put it right back out thinking that it really tasted like crap.
Hi All,
Just wondered how long after you started vaping you gave up analogues?
Could you just put them down?
Cheers,
Maxy
I'm doing it!
I have one analog left and tomorrow, I will not be going to buy more. I am going to see how long I can go without them. If I have them, it is too easy to light one, no matter how inconvenient I make it. My ego isn't a habit yet and I think if I make it my habit, it will be easier. I need to make my ego an extension of myself just like my analogs are/were.
If I don't post for a couple of days, would someone please do a Sedgwick County inmate search online and make sure I didn't kill anyone?!![]()
I just read my previous post in this thread and it's pretty old so I thought I should give an update. Going from 12mg to 18 mg did the trick. I've been vaping for going on 4 months now, it took me 7 weeks till I finally went totally analog free, but now I have been totally tobacco free for 50 days. I've also upgraded from the 510 to an eGo and found just recently that I really like cartomisers because you can vape them trouble free for hours without having to refill or top off all the time.
I'll admit it took me longer and I can't even explain why. I've been vaping for a little over 2 months but I'm only completely analog free for about 10 days. At work when I'm out with my friends in the smoking area, the itch is just there to have one. I went from a PAD habit to maybe 5 a week so I was happy with that. I knew eventually it would wear completely off and I wasn't too hard on myself. It's finally worked.
